@@sarahfarr7400actually, Meg wasn’t Peter’s. In case you have forgotten, it was mentioned in the episode where Peter helped Carter beat Ted Turner in Poker, Brian was the one keeping most of the information that Peter couldn’t remember, including Meg’s real father.

You do know that Meg and Chris may not be Peter's children. In season 3 episode 13, Brian and Peter mention that Meg's real father is Stan Thompson. In season 17 episode 16, Lois mentions that she cheated on Peter with Philip Seymour Hoffman and Chris may not be his son.
