I once saw a Messianic Jew/Rabbi discuss how in Egypt, the Israelite families were to "inspect" the lamb for for blemishes from the 10th-14th day of the month and declare it is a spotless lamb, worthy to be sacrificed (Ex 12: 3-6). The Rabbi then compared this "type" to Jesus' entry into Jerusalem (Palm Sunday) and how he was "inspected" by the Sanhedrin, Herod and finally Pilate, who proclaimed "I find no fault with Him." That always stuck with me...
