just as you crossed the bridge on the let you can pick up the old railroad bed and travel to Ingonish...about 93 klm...nice ride, a good stretch along the coast.

There’s some very isolated and tricky trails on Cape Breton; plenty of moose’n dear. On the good roads it’s only an hour or so from Whycocomagh to Chéticamp, on some backroads? You better know how to hunt and start a fire.
If you ever come back to Cape Breton and do the cabot trail again the best time to do it is late September early October when the leaves change colour. Although it gets chilly then but well worth the view.

Went to an A & W to get a hamburger and a coke. Just isn't done. It is a Root Beer with the meal. Why? A & W root beer is the best root beer, along with dad's root beer; all others are wanting to be. This is like going to a DQ and not getting ice cream.
Warning followers I have just been subjected to scam from onherbike saying I had won a prize of a motorbike but had to pay import duty and delivery up front, be warned good people.
That A and W server was looking pretty bored and apathetic till he realized poor Kinga had not planned how to actually CARRY her food on the bike ...................then he perked right up and leaned out to watch the show!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just a little sympathy...............or mean humour on his part?????????????
And watching Kinga negotiate that hill reminds me of something my old boss used to say, he would remind us: "never complain because things can always GET WORSE"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! In this case at least the weather was cool enough that King was not having to swat at hordes of mosquitoes with one hand while sliding down the rope with the other hand!!!!!!

In Quebec City this June at a Tim Horton’s that was drive-through only, we parked the bikes, then walked through the drive-through 😁
