Wonderful. Thank you! What really made my jaw drop is when you talked about this impulse to merge lives with others out of a sense of intimacy ! I have done this about 5 separate times in my life , always to my detriment . It never works, and I have to keep starting over from scratch, self esteem trashed each time. That desire for intimacy with everyone is MASSIVE. And im good at it naturally. Several people in my life have thought i was their soul mate. Sometimes I’ve agreed, but even then, as great as love is, I knew it was not going to fulfill me long term. My inner voice has often called it all a distraction. ..
This video gave me a lightbulb moment. Like of course I’m unhappy with my life, I’ve been looking for security in the totally wrong place just bc that’s what’s easy for me. Deep down I’ve always wanted to be master of my own life and highly independent. I think that low self worth really fucks me with finding my career path though. Working on it! I have Neptune, North Node, Saturn and Uranus in my 2nd house. Seems like a glaring message to pay attention here. Yet it’s the area of my life I have most heavily avoided and had fear around. Choosing instead to be a wandering, minimalist hippie type. Currently I am a basically a sugar baby and it’s drained so much of my life away in these two years. I do have to find that inner grounding again.

A way I’ve struggled with 2nd/8th nodes is I was born into a family where my Father owns his own company and time and time again I have had to work there because I live in a super small town, and there is no jobs here! So I’ve been trying to become independent and find a way to make money on my own instead of through my family Legacy.
That sounds like a hard struggle and very much aligned with your south node karma. You'll get there one day!

This was very insightful. Thank you. I am very much into money finance, investing building my portfolio if different assets classes. And also resources of myself.. Personal development, self love and independemce. I think this is what the nn in 2nd does. We are really good with spiritual things and just "know" these... From past live... But now its about building a tangible portfolio.

This gave me hope! In tropical system my North Node is in the 1st house & when I started looking into the Sidereal, it shifted into the 2nd house. Getting to know what it means gave me lots of unease, as the idea of my life being about creating wealth is daunting. Plus, the shift from Aquarius to Capricorn is also a big deal. In the end of the day, we get to identify with whatever feels right. However, I really like what you were saying about the affirming part of these houses - being enough. In the end of the day, also both 1st & 2nd houses are about independence.

I have my north node in second house and my second house is in scorpio because I was born just after midnight. So I guess all the south node learning will color my north node in my way forward, or?

This video was good, but I don't know how this can work with my north node second house being in scorpio. I mean scorpio is all about embracing the unknown, how do I embrace the unknown with being close to myself?
The house is more important.. For example you could make your money from death..and scorpionoc things.. Still it's about wnd house. You must build your own security
