I'm was shook the first time I heard it, and so was Henri!

It is traditional for men to sing women's parts in Chinese opera. It was a great honor for Dimash to sing this duet with Li. Dimash was definitely Li's equal. I'm sure they rehearsed this to perfection, since both artists are perfectionists. Henri, you opened your mouth so wide I laughed out loud. It is a delight to see you with Sabina reacting to songs. As always great reaction.In Drunken Concubine Dimash and Li Yu Gang, present us by way of dialogue, the tragic love story between a famous Concubine (represented by Li Yu Gang) of the Chinese imperial court and the emperor (represented by Dimash) for that reason the two thrones in the stage. The Concubine dies poisoned as a result of the intrigues of enemies in the imperial court. The emperor is sentencing the Concubine to death (the vocal fry part)The Concubine reminds the Emperor of happy times together but does not change the outcome, the death of the Concubine.Two styles: traditional Chinese and contemporary.

I love this so much as both voices are beautiful but each showcases the other. They almost sound like musical instruments Li Yugang is more delicate and Dimash rich and warm but bigger range covered . It’s wonderful thank you for reacting 😊❤

Ok we all know how legendary Dimash is right, but can we acknowledge that Li Yugang is legendary aswell. Together they are pure perfection in Harmony
Es un invitado de Dimash , pero nunca tiene ese cuerpo de voz aterciopelada que va con todo a la interpretación de este tema , pues él tema si bien es complejo difícil de interpretar , para Dimash no !!! Pues lleva altos graves escaleras ,de arriba abajo , líricos con timbres baritonales perfecto lo de Dimash , pero él cantante chino o japonés , va con falsestes finos en un solo registro al final termina por debajo de lo contra alto de Dimash que supera con un torrente voz mas la de silbido , que a Dimash nada le es imposible pues ahí maneja varios registros en graves y lírico sin perder él color de su voz , nada para reaccionar pues Dimash no deja un espacio libre lo llena todo ,felicito a Dimash por dar la oportunidad a otros que quieran cantar con él , como a Lara Fabiani andrea Bocelli son unos artistas re conocidos con trayectoria que no dejan de Sorprenderle Dimash por todos sus registros vocales amplios , a nada dice no !!! Lo canto y lo canta , !!! Dios lo ilumina nada en contra pues casualmente son dones que Dios le dió nació para cantar ser famoso sin perder la humildad ,eso solo los grandes de corazón lo hacen , sin imitar ni envidiar nada , por eso en la mayoría de los temas sabiendo 12 idiomas pero primero está su idioma de kasasco su tierra ,bendiciones a Dimash desde argentina las notas operística no se pierde una ,eso se llama perseverancia ser constante para perfeccionarse cada ves mejor ,no por arrazar todo cantante dejarlo atraz , él canta a lo que él le gusta le quede cómodo y dar una buena performans acá lo ven , se ríen !!!! Del invitado sin respeto eso no se hace , pues juegan con la persona y no valoran al artista , por eso nunca dan una reacción perfecta ,Dimash es profesor vocalista internacional ya conocido por él mundo , por tiempos difiles no puede moverse mucho a otros países que seguro su agenda de este año debe estar llena , y lo bueno que tiene Dimash que respeta todo eso , un día saldrá de Kazajistán Rusia Japón china , EEUU , Dios dirá la última palabra la tiene Dios como todo , la respuesta la tiene Dios los tiempos ,pero deben respetar a este joven japonés creo que es por la oportunidad que Dios y Dimash le dieron , para estar en un escenario , sus reacciones no me interesa saben porque ??? Nadies a podido dar una nota que hace Dimash se dejan llevar por la voz vestuario orquesta ,sin estudiar notas operística como para saber algo ,y yo las veo pero paso cuando comienzan a hablar tonteras ,de lo que no saben , vean escuchen , pero mudas y pregunten a andrea Bocelli sobre notas registros vocales operísticos , solo un tenor de chile dijo , en él tema Gakuum , cuando comienza,en un do de la menor pasa a 3,/8 y luego pasa 4,5,6,/8 para llegar a un re de 6/8 y sigue pasando octavas 3 tonos mas ya fuera de serie , pues ya pasó todas las teclas de un piano , hace un trampolín ,como sera esto una 7,/8 y pasa al 8/8 , pero pongo de ejemplo porque estas notas no existen para un piano , menos para Dimash porque no tiene techo va mas allá , vuelve al final termina por donde comenzó a un re y do ,de octavas hablando , siempre sería un do de de 3 /8 ok ?? Does any singer have so many sides as Dimash? His versatility is so phantastic. And I`m sure we will see many more. I love this performance, too. The ending is flashing me every time, because of that incredible duet with these wonderful harmonies. It´s really fun to watch Henri`s face...:)))
Of course Dimash is the only artist on earth with that versatility ;-) - so stunning to experience that every single time! Meanwhile I love this performance, especially because Dimash is so extremely masculine, in his stage presence and in all his movements as a counterpart to the "female singing" of Li Yugang - no matter how high Dimash is singing. He is so powerful and strong - and he looks great! And yes - I also thoroughly enjoyed Henri's facial reactions! Thanks to all of you, ladies!

Have you seen the duelling pianists playing Flight of the Bumblebee and Dimash joins in with his singing about two thirds of the way through. Then he sings Auld Lang Syne. It is spectacular.

I'm so happy that others appreciate this performance. I think it is absolutely brilliant and out of this world. I watched several reactions shortly after I saw it, excited to see others impressions, and was disappointed that most people didn't like it.

Maybe show her Tengri's performance of "Heaven" from Singer 2018 (Google the song under the name Tengger for a video with Eng. subs), followed by Dimash's duet with Tengri on "Swan Goose". They met when Dimash performed "Hello" on Singer 2018. Actually "Hello" might be a good one to start with (along with the fan made video of Jessie J watching the song's climax from backstage.) Just some suggestions.

as for Li Yu Gang 李玉刚~ he is a special "category" in real Peking／Beijing Opera called "nandan", it's really amazing. traditionally NO females are allowed on stage, so all parts were performed by men. they not only train their voices, also dancing, acting, gestures etc... I personally still prefer male performers (nan dan) but they r getting rarer as of course it is more difficult to train ^^
abit off topic but i highly recommend the movie 'farewell my concubine (different concubine lol) but a brilliant movie with alot of Peking Opera :) also shows how they used to train
