@@diegomendezluna You can also spend the time e.g. on phrasing, creative individual FX, track selection or stems if you're into that, so many possibilities. Imho modern DJing doesn't need manual beatmatching, but of course there will always be oldschool vinly sets and such, just like there are other 'traditionally hand made' crafts. Have a look at Chris Liebing, he uses sync and spends his attention elsewhere to create better sets, good example of what I mean. I see beatmatching as a small and 'dumb' part of DJing, why shouldn't we let the machine do it perfectly and focus in the parts that only humans can do?
I guess the point is... How many Dj's would there REALLY be if there was no Sync Button? ;) It's about respect for the craft. Chris Liebing learned to beat match b4 using sync.
@@sammyfearon Chris Liebing creates different frequencies and EQ's 4 tracks at the same time... 4 channels up pretty much all the time. She just goes one track after the other one using Sync, anyways... let's enjoy her track selection :)
