That narrator! It's Don Wilson, Jack Benny's announcer for 30+ years, also the narrator of Ferdinand the Bull the 1938 Walt Disney Silly Symphony. I got here from a Reddit link of today which linked me to a Reddit of 3 years ago for your VHS of Nosferatu. I have a copy that I bought in 1985 of Metropolis that has a sound effects track, no music at all. From when I've researched that one was presented on the BBC in 1982 and later on Bravo Channel on cable. Can't quite recall the label but it was so long ago I bought it at Gemco :)
