I am so devastated of what this storm caused. I live in Flaherty, Meade County and consider myself one of the lucky ones, the tornado let up right before us! Prayers to the victims and families 🙏🏻
@@MonaichFother If gawd has a perfect eternal plan for everybody and everything and all things as they relate to each other, it's one hell of a complex plan. And I don't think an entity with that scale of thinking is going to alter, and therefore ruin, the perfection of the eternal plan to save granny, and certainly not if her death in this storm is an important part of it. So........ prayer CAN'T work if you posit the existence of the kristchunnnnn gawd, as envisioned by most sects.
I live in Pulaski county and i pray for everyone to a great recovery and please all donate.. I do watch the weather and making sure my family is safe too
Why 100 employees? What about 25 employees or 50 or 10. Every life matters! All they need is 4-5 weather radios and place them through out the building so eveyone can hear them.
We were watching this live on here in BG because we don’t have cable. We were safe in the bathroom because of you. Houses on the street have roofs and second stories gone, cars flipped, and worse. Thank you.
Why wasn't there any alerts and all the states and all the counties you want to do news where is the national alert system? Lots of people were sleeping when this hit.
The NWS and NOAA do issue alerts and we (and most tornado prone areas) have municipal tornado sirens. When you are asleep you just don't know unless you are awake to hear the sirens. They make weather radio alarm clocks that will wake you up if there's a watch or warnings but some people have them others don't. The municipal sirens are loud but many times you cannot hear them in the house. My grandparents live in Brunswick County NC and had no advanced warning (power went out and had tornado sirens) that an EF3 tornado was cruising by their neighborhood back in February. They only knew that there was a tornado coming by hearing the rumble.
I thought so too and even commented on it but was told that there cell phones are not allowed on while they work. I remember 911 so my cell phone stays on all the time. Idfc what any one says. The window of alert was from 6pm to 8pm. I believe it hit around 830pm
Northern Kentucky and southern Indiana area bordering the Ohio River. Because they're in the same valley, they usually get the same weather so the news often lumps them together when reporting weather.
Can the guy in the tan suit stop competing for air time. He brings more anxiety. His competition is like watching a race while trying to see what a tornado is doing. He is also near yelling.
Yea the tan suit guy added nothing but stress to this coverage. And he somehow had the storm taking a right turn twords bardstown? It went 200+ miles on the same track .. smh… go watch news 6 coverage, they did an incredible job.

who is the yokel at the desk?? does he even know he is on the air?? he talks like he is at the gas station with Gomer and Andy!!! impossible to listen to!!!
No climate change to see here. It is sad people have and are not taking it serious. They complain that it will costs jobs and money (not true), BUT what does it cost for the ever increasing storms and their intensity??
Weather will always be unpredictable and dangerous, immediately labeling any type of severe weather as "climate change" is desperate and uniformed. Thoughts and prayers for all affected!
@@laxmann31 Ummm - tornados in December are definitely a result of climate change. It was 80 degrees here, on Friday night in DFW, prior to the cold front coming in to drop temps 40 degrees in an hour's time. 80 degrees ahead of the cold front in December caused these tornados. 80 degrees is not normal in December.
@@laxmann31 If this is true - the # of tornados probably dropping because it is ALWAYS hot everywhere. Tornados don't occur just because the weather is warmer 🤦♀. Tornados occur due to the extreme mix of cold and warm weather. For instance, these tornados happened in December because the weather was too warm in December ahead of a cold front. It was 80 degrees in here, in Dallas Fort Worth, before dropping temps to 40 degrees. These weather extremes, which are caused by climate change, produce EF5 tornados. Get it now?
Sad that you're making it political. This is what we've come to on both sides of the divide, an us and them mentality. My neighbors and I are politically different but we still treat each other as people, especially during hard times. Praying for you all..

Prayers to those affected; lifted before reaching us in Radcliff, KY.
You should have prayed sooner, convince gawd to NOT hammer these towns. After the fact....... not so effective.
2021...
@@kimweaver1252 Yeah, doesn't make sense. It was Gods will that he sent in the storm, now we've to pray for a good outcome?

If over 100 people work in one place there should be someone monitoring severe weather.
Amazon was threatening employees at its St. Louis area warehouses (especially the Edwardsville facility) with termination if they left their stations.

They was alerting people days before this storm even hit
I just seen this I live in Bowling Green Kentucky and it is very bad. I have never seen one on this path before. It through my backyard.
Someone will make a documentary about this and I can't wait
Seems to me that those poor people in the mayfield candle factory would have been aware of the tornado long before it got there.

Same with Amazon in St. Louis. They knew all afternoon that there were some deadly conditions developing
Well yeah, the management kept them there. They basically murdered those people.
you don't understand the destruction of what you are covering until after you get done
good job guys
there were alerts i heard it there were even warning on my phone

Fact check false! The number of strong tornadoes (EF3 and higher) have dropped by over 40% since 1954
