thank you for this video! I don't understand at all why you only have 177 subs. I have a small problem, it works perfectly for resident evil 2 remake but not for res 3 remake, when I do all the steps and go to res 3, no mods apply even with only one mod.
Hey there! Couple things to check. First, ensure you're selecting the correct pak list file. Next, make sure you have all dlc costumes installed for RE3 and try switching costumes. A lot of mods replace costumes other than the default one and you need to switch for it to show up.
@@Whitehawkx ha shit i forgot to install the dlc lmao, i bet that's the problem. thanks a lot! but for the other mods, for example classic UI, you know why it doesn't work?

even with the dlc, the mods don't work...(outfit,models)
Did the jiggle physics mods works too? Also there is a mod that still uses the original outfit of Claire but it have jiggle physics? I just want the physics ala RE1 remake on Jill

Also for others who like to convert mods I've observed that mods that changes cloths works fine and well but mods that changes appearnces like hair colors and styles or apearance of the body causes PS4 to crash so don't use these mods but simple cloths mod work totally fine for both games. Although another problem I found that many Eliza Walker custom cloths won't convert and crashes the Pak creator. I really like Claire Classy white dress but It's crashing the Pak Creator. The one which I was able to convert works fine in ps4 game.
Hi!, great video!, I have updated the texture tool to support RE4 remake(from my testing anyway), I think I should also clarify you don't need the PAK list for creating PAKs anymore(it's only for extracting files), as for PAK creation, the "Open/Save" button you should be selecting the two "re_chunk_000/re_chunk_001" from the base game.
You know, I've been using a pak list for so long I completely forgot your can just use the game paks instead. Probably wouldn't hurt to make an updated video for this.
Thanks for adding support for RE4! This must be Kernel Panic then. Question - has the issue with DMC5 I mentioned awhile back also been fixed in this latest release as well?
using the PAK list is actually a bug past 2.0 funny enough :D, i'm not aware of the DMC5 bug, care to explain more?
@@gamersixvideos4239 When converting textures for DMC 5 it gives the error "Unknown tex format! 0x0B Attempt to parse using old RE2/3 style? (unlikely to work!)." I had tweeted about it last June and was told that DMC5 forgot to be included in the valid list just needed an update to include it.

can u give me instructions how to do it? i tried it i added the mods to the update file from an old video from modded warfare and i got black screen when i launched re4r.

Thanks man. Mods are working on Ps4 on both Resident Evil 2 as well as Resident Evil 3, really hope if we can mod Final Fantasy 7 remake and Shadow of Tomb raider on PS4
I was able to do a simple mod on FF7R that gave Aerith and Tifa one of their Don Corneo dresses. Also worked for Cloud. I haven't been able to get stuff like recolors to work yet. If I do I'll probably do a video on it.

@@TheChelnov Haven't gone back to FF7R yet. I'm currently working on a mod for Dark Souls 3 on PC/PS4. I might revisit FF7R after that.
@@Whitehawkx Ok let's hope it'll work when you get the time. I've notice there is a program called save editor wizard which can do this but don't know why it's so expesive i.e 55 dollars and also there are some limitations too. Honestly I believe Square Enix should have given this option themselves for playing entire game with new cloths.

This usually means you didn't create the 'streaming' folder and copy your assets to it.

That's normal. It's suppose to do that. It's comparing it against a 20+GB file so it takes awhile. Just be patient and it will finish. Subsequent builds will go faster.
Whitehawkx i resolve the issue, now the Samus mod wont works, the game gives error when loading the game 😭 i follow every step but wont works , i will try another source mod webpage , please share the mod you did 🙏🏻
How do I do this with Darkness Valtier's Classic U.B.C.S. uniform mod pack that gives the uniforms of the classic RE3 to not only Carlos but also Nicholai Mikhail Tyrell and Murphy? If you're modding things other than the player character models and Nemesis?
All character mods with the same way. Just follow the guide and you can alter non-player outfits too.
@@Whitehawkx ok also if I have both a PS4 and PS5 is it possible for me to convert the install data to my PS5 and still keep the mods after doing it on the PS4 version first or at the very least reinstall the PS4 version on my PS5 with the mod in it?
@@Whitehawkx I've never actually modded my PS4 games before aside from use of save wizard but if it requires me to do anything to my firmware I'd prefer to do this in a way that won't hinder my ability to still use my PS4 online if at all possible since my PS4 also has the most recent update patches already applied
halo bro.. I have a problem with the PC mod .PAK file, I want to change it to ps4. how to extract it? I think because the stm folder must be changed to a folder with the name ps4...
If it's already in pak format you can use u4pak to unpack it.

Is there a way to turn off the mods after you put them on there? In case you just wanna play it like it is supposed to look?
My mistake, I replied to the wrong video. For RE mods you can go back to stock by reinstalling the original non-modded update file. There is no way to turn them off/on.
@@Whitehawkx Hi! For RE2R, is it possible to port sounds from PC to PS4? I have a great Fan Dub in my own language, but it was only released for pc. I just need to transcode WEM files from "custom vorbis" to "atrac9". I have all the extracted wem files. Do I really need Wwise tool? I cannot start it on my computer.

It's possible it's a small mod and just converts it really quickly. I have occasionally tried to convert mods that for one reason or another just wouldn't work.

It might be the mod you're trying to use. Have you tried a different mod?
@@Whitehawkx I'm trying to install just a couple of mods at once, would you recommend trying just 1 mod. Also I'm embarrassed to say because I'm a little poor I'm using windows 7 because my laptop is quite old ,could that be a problem? Thankyou very much for your reply.

This will only work on a jailbroken PS4. It cannot currently be done on a PS5 since there's no jailbreak.

Only RE Engine games, so unfortunately won't work for 5 or 6.

This will only work for RE Engine games. So RE2R, RE3R, RE7, RE8, DMC5
