Seems like the trails are not well marked. I'm intending to do this on a day trip from Innsbruck by public transport. Do you think there is only time for 1 trail?

Do you want to do the exact same hike I did? In that case, what you need to factor in is that whether you are able to do it within the timeframe of the first and last cable car. Moreover, you also need to be able to catch an early bus from Bludenz to Brandt, I don't know if that is possible from Innsbruck. If you have the fitness level to tackle the elevation gain and the distance needed within the available timeframe, then sure, go for it!
Regarding the markings, I did not have a problem with that. It may not be visible in the shots I took, but the paths were well-marked altogether. Except for maybe Schafgafall, but in that case it is not really needed.

@Zsolt84 i think the practical and realistic route wld be to scheseplana and down by gamsluggen. This is what i aim to do but not sure if it is possible. It will hv to be a very early day from innsbruck.

Is it difficult for unexperience to hike to gamsluggen?

I guess it depends on what you mean by difficult. What I did, was hike to Totalphütte from the Lühnerseebahn Bergstation and then continued on to Gamsluggen, approaching it from the Northern side. This hike is around 4.3 kms long and involves an elevation gain of 438 meters. If you have the fitness level, then it isn't difficult at all. I have not encountered any exposed sections on this path at all, however, the way was not always clearly marked. Moreover, it's very rocky, so be sure to bring good hiking shoes. Approaching Gamsluggen from the southern side seemed more difficult and exposed, so I wouldn't recommend that.
