I think the idea is if you didn't want to play that card, then its +1 energy, and if you did, then your relic just didn't do anything. Similar to Slaver's Collar in that the downside of the energy relic is that its not always helping. Issue is, since the cost doesn't reset until played, it ends up forcing you to play that card every turn, making it worthless. I suspect the cost not resetting was something the developer hadnt thought about very hard, is all
Honestly i think he would really enjoy the mobile game Tower of Winter ! Its a text based RPG roguelike. Its sooo good at one point i had everything memorized but they keep updating it and adding new adventures!

Idk about the newer seasons of Rick and Morty (especially the one(s) after they replaced Justin Roiland) but I enjoyed it thoroughly from seasons 1-3. I also possess an above average intellect and understand the majority of the topics/premises the episodes revolve around so that might cloud my bias tho
@@itsikpix5825I guess the idea was recycling carrs that got cragglerooted, but frosts energy setup was solid enough as to where he was basically unaffected by dice anyway, so not like he needed it. that or they mistook "exhaust when played" for all exhaust and figured recycle would just discard the card.
the dota 2 relic mod is unbalanced even compared to the other mods in spay the streamer. the creator had no idea how to balance relics as is apparent by seeing the boss relics which provide +1 energy per turn without any downside. infact most of the boss relics have +1 energy and an upside.
I don"t think Frost particularily cares. It's pretty clearly not a great mod, the relics are horribly translated, but the whole point of Slay the Streamer is that Frost gets to counteract chat bogging him down by having a bunch of relic mods of varying levels of stupidity in tandem with having the ability to pick from 3 relics each time. The boss energy relics being exclusively beneficial is mostly a moot point. Chats literally never going to pick one, so Frost would only ever get it from the boss swap, and in that case, if he rolls it from boss swap, that's chat getting punished on the boss swap gamble, since it also has the chance to completely devastate Frost with something like a terrible energy relic or a shaped glass or something.
I genuinely don't understand people who can watch videos on 2x speed. Like, 1.25x? Sure. I sometimes listen to voice recordings on that speed and listen to audio books at 1.15x. But 2x? It's incoherent
I know he said Claw was useless with the run he had, but at least playing them would scale any other Claws he gets through Hello World. Streamline's funny because it plays and gets exhausted, so he could never take advantage of the decreasing cost aspect it has.
