Most Americans find it hard to retire comfortably amid economy crisis. Some have close to nothing going into retirement, my question is, do I pay off mortgage as a near-retiree, or spread money in stocks for cashflow? I'd love to afford my lifestyle even after retirement?
@maria_casey your response suggests a person of benevolence, curiously inputted her full name on my browser and immediately came across her consulting page, top-notch qualifications... very much appreciate this
How do people manage in retirement since 401ks are nothing to write home about? My 800k turned to 250k in no time. Im 54, will I work till God calls me?I.
I worked until 65, I was at the top of my income game, liked my work, and we could both go on Medicare. I ALMOST fell into the “only one more year” trap
Finances: 35% in 5.25% secure, 40% stocks, 5% cash, 10% gold/silver, 5% Series I Savings Bonds, 5% “play” stocks (TSLA, HD, CCL). Key: NO debt. I don’t need my RMDs, thus, take as QCDs. This is a unique portfolio as apportioned by my fa.
Each portfolio is peculiarly apportioned according to your taste and sentiments, but Monica will straighten you out if you work with her in particular. I have a portfolio of almost a million and her aum exceeds 500 million, you will be charged a negotiable fee in form of commission
Private investing has over time from my observations the best way to go about the mrkt right now, especially for near retirees, I've been in touch with a wealth manager for awhile now netted 370thousand this downturn, made it clear there's more to the mrls than we average joes even know
I am nearly 50, hubby is 57. We have started to save to retire from the farm, and possibly live on rental income, I just subscribed really appreciate you to talk about how to earn passive income online and retire comfortably, let’s say $4M.
Having a fduciary is essential for proper portfolio diversification to make gains. My advisor is Kayla Tabitha Rodrigues who is easily searchable and has extensive knowledge of the financial mrkts.
Pretty bad advice to not take on more risk if you're starting with 0. You have 25 years ahead until age 70 for a 45 year old. You don't need to be buying NFTs, but you will not save your way to a comfortable retirement if you're starting with zero at 45. You can take on risk appropriate for a 45 year old looking to retire at 70, but not taking on risk when stocks will in all likelihood rise considerably over any 25 year stretch starting with zero is not it. Good old fashioned VTI needs to be at the core.
I love that you’ve transitioned to financial advice from skating. I’m 40 and tuned into my direction over the past couple years. The fact you’re a past influence and now can continue being a good influence is freaking sweet haha
Look forward to it. I'm 53 and started 'preparing for the future' a bit late. I've enrolled on a trading course and started learning how to trade with commodities and the forex. Haven't learnt anything yet, just familiarisation with mt4 and Trading View. I hope it works out, it feels like this is my last hope.
I'm 42... I barely started investing in etf stocks a year ago... I am super behind. I am investing 25% of my income income. Hopefully, $2,200 per month helps my case. I have 20 more years to invest 😮

as most investing-related questions, the answer is relative and quite personal, its best you consider advisory management

Grateful hrt. Needed this myself. I'm frustrated by the current economy. I have sent her a message, and I hope she gets back to me soon.
