I've got the same system but mine is the CJ45, same speakers but just diffrent reciever, if you block one port on the sub with an object that perfectly fits but has a good seal and it wont move like a bunched up pair of socks, then you get a lot more audible lows instead of mechanical grumble from the sub.
Lol ive done the same to my lg cm4560 the 700 rms and stills hits 52 hz because of box but you can hear pretty much down to 37 hz you hear the bass but you dont feel the pressure
You shouldn't block the port, better open it up and put some guata (kind of cotton layer) and it will improve the bass sound, also do not use the bass blast as it turn the bass into the dynamic range above 55hz, the best it can do is 44 hz which is decent considering the price and range of the system, but hey at least the bass of this system is dynamic and not flat like the panasonic or sony models of the same age.
That is not true, that speaker is a sub that plays the low notes and the other ones are mids and highs which are not designed to play bass, but the one that is facing up is a subwoofer that speaker is meant to play low notes

the first person i've seen using the TV connect feature on these LG speakers, I used to have the model that came out just before these speakers and that feature was honestly a lifesaver when the speakers in my TV just gave out on me.
And I have two 10s iv been trying to get to work with it but it just makes a loud pop and turns the music off and itll co.e back on in like 1 min and I have to turn it down then
i own some vieta studio speakers and i swear if i put it atleast on 100% my house falls apart and if i turn on the loudness aka bass boost it just explodes
