Been playing the game for about 2 years. When I found it I knew it had a lot of potential but there just wasn’t much to it at the time. I went back about 6 months ago and was pleased with the progress and played hard for about a month. Maybe it’s time to return again!
It looks super good, finally something that seems to combine all the best parts of games in this genre.
I couldn't hold my laugher from 18:10 to the end of the video, my mom even checked in on me.

I used to own a server in europe called "Traphouse" back when this released, always had a full server. it has lost so much player base from its release purely due to its inital bugs. i might have to come back to this seeing how its improved!

The devs are hard working, honest and super friendly as they value all input to the game, I love the game for the actuall difficult AI compared to other games where you could singlehand a hundred brainless AI butting the wall, here their shooting is on par or even above your level of skills, and facing of numbers greater than your group means often cases death or near death moments.

I got this game a while back. Never knew it was this much fun!!
its a pretty watered down dayz. it does get repetitive after a while. its worth the price tag if on sale but the game feels wonky at some points and definitely isnt as immersive as dayz or tarkov. if this game got polished a little bit more and they had frequent stuff added to it and some balancing with the AI's it would be a much more enjoyable experience.
I agree man! But you know what, as far as the watered down part, I actually enjoy that. DayZ is awesome and on another level, no doubts about that, but sometimes you just want something that feels like DayZ but without all the 10000 mechanics you gotta know by heart. You feel me?
@@CusterPlays I agree with you 100%. deadside is good fun without having to worry about getting sick every five minutes lol. I enjoyed that part too, the game isnt as hardcore as dayz but its still i solid survival experience. deadside is a perfect game to get on and have a couple good runs and like you said in the video this game could be very big in the future with some more features added and all that good stuff. loved the vid man btw i might have to reinstall deadside.
Repetitive until you find the right server where admins and server owners host lots of fun events. I once held a purge event, was fun times.
Dayz is a absolutely ass game so I’m glad you think this isn’t like it

I played this game for a bit a few months ago. It's pretty mindblowing how little players it had. Idk how it's doing now, but I hope it becomes popular because the foundation it has is great.
It actually does not. Game is just broken, everything is bugged, and if you manage to find a private server you ll always get ganbanged by admins or their friends.
Also it DOES NOT look like you see in the first seconds of video and got poor optimization

I have been playing this for a while and it's really great. It does need some more content but it's getting there. Recommended for sure.
I have almost 200 hours on deadside I first played it in 2020 when it first drop and man I can tell you it has improved a ton , for now I have stopped playing because I have done everything I could possibly do but I hope I can get back in some day when they add more content

I've tried this game a year ago and it's great. just lack of community support and player like you guys back then. Never play it anymore but I'll hop to it sooner, cheers mate

Deadside honestly reminds me of Unturned and Escape from Tarkov a little regarding scavs
Have had this game for a few years now.. they have recently merged with another dev studio and have promised big things. So, we can only hope and wait but the update development is still very, very slow and small
800+ hours in and going. 10/10 would bang. everyone buy this game

As someone that has 600+ hours atm. I love the game and I think way more peeps should. Yes you'll see some toxicity but it's no worse than rust. There's also pve servers if you just want to learn the game without people bugging you. Also the dev's are really nice and transparent with the community and give frequent enough updates.
How’s the difficulty? I play dayz because I’m tired of playing easy games. Would like something similar
@@Jay-407 Starting out it can be really hard as you will get one tapped very often by the ai. When you get the best armour and helmet in the game it becomes easier to deal with the ai but the players are always getting better and that's what will keep the game more interesting once you have end game loot. PvP is very fun and you learn new things every time regardless of weather you die or win. It is easier than DayZ though I can tell you that much. But I'd still get it because it going to just get better and better

I've played this game since day one I stopped playing it because I experienced hackers and the people I have playing it with me just stop playing it I really love this game but I don't ever have anyone on my side that plays it anymore I would love to see more content like this and hopefully one day I can meet you in game I would love to find the server but anyway keep making content like this bro I'm definitely subbing right now

Tried this game a bunch of times. Wish it was more solo friendly, but a lot of games with pvp are like that. The A.I is crazy as well lol. Has potential, but I always go back to DayZ . I think Deadside does the only online base raising really good though.

Deadside is pretty fun.
I hope the developer makes the game a little grungy. Add smoke and fire, bullet ridden walls of bunkers, ammunition (empty or full) crates, mags and casings everywhere... Just make it look like its been used. This game surely is promising.

Got this game on steam during the beta, not been on it in over a year. Defiantly gonna have a lil sesh at some point.
I remember playing this game when It first came out and it was a broken pile of mess. Lagging/Fps drops, servers going haywire. you can't interact with any bodies of water.
Luckly it has changed ALOT since then.

I remember when i was playing dayz mod religiously and i was in an army of 20 people and we had 2 pilots that flew 12-16 hours a day ingame and i was one of them we absolutely domminated servers and killed bullys and gave gear to newbies it was awesome
Ran servers on this game since day 1 and shut them down 4 months ago due to no players. This game brought so many enjoyable moments and tons of fun but as a server owner you really have to be creative to keep the player base interested. Might just have to come back and check out the new updates

I lived the days where Deadside was called Similar to Escape from Tarkov
I honestly think a publisher needs to throw many at them or something. These Devs 100% deserve more support. I've been playing Deadside the past week and have had a blast with it. The game is a bit barebones at the moment but what has been created so far as a lot of solid talent/passion behind it. They have a clear end vision for what they want the game to turn into and you can clearly see that playing it.
200 hours, such a good game man.
