- Round 5 of the 2017 Trans Am Championship presented by Pirelli at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, The Trans Am Speedway Showdown. This race featured the TA, TA3 and TA4 Classes
Just skimming through now, but I'm excited to see a Maserati out there! I enjoy the lower TA classes more than the sparse top-tier class of bodied super machines.

Do these guys have to talk every second. How many times to i have to hear about how its so tricky to pass the slower cars.
One second of dead air so i can hear the cars would be nice every once and a while.

Continue to run at indy such a great track and it's the closest thing the fans get to imsa
American Racing Channel what's stopping imsa from coming to indy...I dont understand why they can't come here???
Clint Ostby they ran here from 2012-14 the races were pretty good but no one went to them since it was brickyard weekend and on a Friday so people thought it was only NASCAR practice
If you don’t know this race and the 1 this year was ran during a vintage weekend so that’s why it. Looks like no ones at this race
@@Kyleconley59 I was aware of them running on Friday. I would like to see some kind of stand alone event. It would be cool to run like a 12 hour endurance event that would go into the night. I don't know if that would work with so many residential areas nearby.
Clint Ostby the city of Indianapolis (they own the speedway area) wouldn’t let them race that late at night also it would be dangerous or the spectators since Indianapolis dose not have lights if there were in the grand stands it would be easy to fall and break a bone on the metal
Like I already said they would not let them race that late. Heck IRP which there’s no housing near for about a mile has to have all racing end by 11 pm. Indy is like 9 in the summer the Indy 500/ Indy Gp has to end by 7 due to sundown
But I would love to see these guys get rid of the 100 mile races and instead use the full hour and 30 min

I think he had an altercation with another driver after the race. He is done for the year from my understanding.
Again.....Drissi needs to go back to Skip Barber School!
