Thanks for the memories. I would sit at White Bay as a child at the bus stop on the bridge and watch the deckers make that turn into Victoria rd coming from Glebe Island Bridge. Shopping trolleys, prams (empty), golf bags are just a small sample of what came sliding off the rear platform. A conductor was seen sliding on his rear end along the roadway as his bus continued on it's merry way without him lol!! The driver would often struggle with the heavy steering when carrying a full standing load of passengers and would bake in the overwhelming summer heat combined with the heat of the engine. Those were the good old days!!
Excellent production. It was good to see the Albion being put through it's paces in various driving conditions. It's a very silent cruiser. Enjoyed the historic pictures of the locations interspersed with the video.

Clever bus driver using lane three onto along then off the Anzac Bridge you dont want to get caught in the lineup at White Bay :)
