Man Dante absolutely stole the show throughout the entire story mode.
heck even by the end when he bamboozled his comrades only to turn out he bamboozled Ultron Sigma, and when he is the only Capcom character we use for the final fight in the story mode just shows that he is the best part in the whole game.
the writers really did him justice.
It was honestly his role here that had me feeling they were cooking something with him and a new game in the series was coming out. A year after this game was released and DMC5 was announced which made me happy.

He always could talk in his DT Forms. The only Transformation he has where doesn't talk is his Sin Devil Trigger Form. Probably because his mouth isn't structured for speech.
@@kin4386 Well if you timed it correctly in the fight against Vergil where he goes "you cut your own sons arm for this?" while in sdt he could still talk, a bit distorted like normal dt

Me: I think you're confusing the Soul Stone with the Time Stone.
The Soul Stone showed him only someone with a soul can wield its power. Dante hypothesized that Ultron could not actually control the soul stone so he devised a plan I won't spoil here to stop him.
A common problem with the game plot is that the stones feels like random plot device rather than specific (outside of the soul stone during the climax).

I regularly play as Dante in marvel vs capcom souly because I love him. Even though it's no umvc 3 I can still do pretty good with him. So when I got to this fight I absolutely whoop Jedah's shit because I went all out since I had infinite devil trigger. Love this game purely for this fight and getting to play as Dante
What if, at the the end there, when he teleported away, he yelled out *"TRICKSTER"* right before he did it... ? 🤔

This moment in the game was easily a highlight amongst the slop.
I mean, you just get to beat the tar out of Jedah, the guy who is technically responsible for all of this, while you're permanently in devil trigger for the entire fight.
This is the only time we'll get to see a high quality model Dante Devil Trigger 3.

Lemme tell you that just Jedah's blood can hurt some demons but expecially humans. Being half human, Dante stats with a big disavantage
Jedah can cut his own body and head to attack and block attacks
He can send his own blood inside bodies
Reality warping
Being able to destroy dimensions/universes
Being able to imprison people in dimensions. And even skilled dimension travelers such as Morrigan (who travels costantly) cannot escape by the one he created
If this game gave Jedah 1/20 of his smartness he would have imprisoned everybody in another dimension except for Morrigan, since she is an Aensland thus his sword enemy.
If Dante wants a chance to defeat the true Jedah, near to the Fetus of God (placed on his realm) he should be at his DMC4 incarnation, and it won't be that easy either.
Beware tho, I love Dante and many character here such as Zero, Ryu etc. But they shouldn't really being able to stand up against Jedah so easily. With most of them it's like comparing Gohan ssj2 and Whis.
Well allow me to deconstruct your argument with a few things.
Firstly, Dante's most powerful incarnation is his DMC2 one. In which case he's the furthest along in the Timeline.
2. Token 'massive regeneration'. Cool blood bending technique, but through the concept of Conservation of Energy, he's weakening himself doing that.
3. Dante , in his DMC 1 Incarnation, beat Mundus who had created his own reality/Universe before the fight. He killed the god in his own plane, where he was God.
4. DMC2 Dante engaged what was toted as the single most powerful entity in the universe (Reality bending, creating, warping. Space time control, etc. etc. All that nice super stuff) and, in the Maijin Devil Trigger form, killed him in approximately 2 seconds.
Am I saying it would be easy? Naah. Jedah is DEFINITIVE Final boss Material for a DMC game, but he's stood up to equally as powerful entities in every incarnation, and come out on top. Once you reach a certain point, there is no getting 'better' than that tactically.

2) He does not waste energy by doing using blood against his enemeis.
3 and 4) Being able to create is different than being able to both create and destroy. Jedah did both
But yeah, not that you explained me, I think Realm!Jedah and Dante would make a really balanced battle.
That being said, Belial stomps on both Jedah, Morrigan 1/3, Morrigan 2/3 and Dante. The guy is stated to be nigh omnipresent and being able to oneshot Jedah with a swing of his arm
