- The Nag Hammadi library is a collection of codices buried in an earthen jar in the 4th century (presumably to prevent immolation by Catholic enforcers) and rediscovered 1600 years later. The Gospel of Truth was authored by 2nd century Christian leader Valentinius or one of his proteges. In the Gospel of Truth we find a so-called Gnostic text which is in fact closer to the New Testament than the writings of the "Church Fathers." Irenaeus, Hippolytus and Tertullian portrayed God as a distant monarch who was mainly concerned with church dogmatics and church authority. The Gospel of Truth teaches not religion but experience -- the experience of living, conscious union with a Living God.

Those who have had this experience of AWAKENING, will hear their experience in this text...about half way through it describes the experience of the one who Awakens. See how the Spirit works, is that we first experience these things, THEN we find these same things had been written before us...the confirmations come, after one has experienced the journey...Hense, what they have see and heard (rather perceived) can not be denied, for they have received of Spirit; the experience, and also the confirmations. I am not sure if I have ever read or listened to this full Gospel...yet, I have just listened to half of this video, and I bear witness that these are the same things that I have heard...and if one can deny or quickly speak evil of these things that are spoken; then truly you have never heard His Voice.
I know that many have been fearful, due to ignorance and indoctrinations of man; yet if you are of a truly Faithful heart, and trust in the Christ of your Salvation; then listen to these things for yourself, and let the Spirit bear witness if they be true or not. And ask yourself, Why have you feared and listened to man, when it has been written that all is a liar? If you truly trusted in the Father and Christ, then you would allow the Spirit to bear witness to you spirit...you would trust that the Father would not lie nor steer His Children in error.
Remeber, nothing entering into man, can defile man...therefore, if you are to hear the things written in this book, if it were to be corrupt, it's corruption could not defile you. However, truly, if one is of the Father, they will hear what is written in this writing. Ironically, it is these very things that I have received from the Bible itself. It is to hear the call of the Spirit, the true Testimony, that can only be received by one who is of the Faithful heart...To hear is to receive of the Anointed Word...and this no man can receive, as it was writ, they hear only the Parable; the outer covering, but the meaning remains hidden, and is revealed only to those who are of a faithful and true heart; Spirit bearing witness to their spirit.
Again, if you speak evil of this text...Truly, you have not heard His Word. Those who have heard; know truth when it is spoken.
Blessings to those who have an hearing ear...they are able to receive the blessings of Christ.

@Niki Mc The individual making the video, myself, and many others, including circumstances, are all props for the benefit of your spiritual journey. Your awakening is happening within you all by itself.
In the Dao De Jing, the sage says, I do nothing and the people get better on their own.
The same will happen with your family members. Do nothing, outside of being yourself. Don't wrestle with them, but you can always challenge their thinking, just don't get embroiled in their karma. Master your ego before you interact with others on deeper levels of consciousness.
The spiritual path is easy once you get the hang of it, and gain sufficient insight and wisdom through meditation, or introspection. Always follow your intuition. It will guide you, especially in the early stages spiritual development.
I would recommend the Dao De Jing, the Baghavad Gita, the Nag Hammadi library and the traditional gospels as outside catalysts to your meditative, introspective journey of self-awareness.
Great speakers I have enjoyed are: Ramana Maharshi, Mooji, Eckhart Tolle, Krishnamurti, Byron Katie, Thich Nhat Hanh, among others.
Do not use books or people as your authority. The knowing that is within guides you and is your authority. It will all make sense internally, and this process is already underway. The delving inward, quietly awaiting insights, spiritual knowledge and wisdom, is what I call meditation, or introspection. It takes place naturally, and both deliberately and spontaneously.

The writer is always the Holy Spirit; we are always and ever only the vehicle for that spirit; and even then only when we open ourselves to that Spirit allowing it in to our fallible minds. Without that aspect of our being; the Spirit which is anchored into the all knowledgable, all seeing, uncreated being of which the human mind is merely half; the demi-urge which knows not the all will of the Father. It is very heartening to hear people opening to that true spirit which is propagated in the words of these ancient texts; the true gospels of the Christ and His followers in life.

The Apocryphon of John, also in the Nag Hammadi find, seems to go from the number four until about 12 paragraphs later, describing black holes, either individually, or altogether as an eternal continuum. This is confirmed by general relativity, G.P.S. in cell phones (accounting for bent spacetime near Earth) and by witnessing stars (Ghez, UCLA video clip) orbit black holes. There is a great amount of specificity that only can describe black holes (heavy black blobs that stop time, as seen from our view).

It has to be the long, often dismissed, version of the Apocryphon, but once you realize you are talking physics not fantasy, it becomes the opposite of dull and repetitive.

These were written around the 4th century, although sects of Gnosis incorporated Christianity approximately 80 CE the same year as the rest of the Christian church. Other sects of Gnosis are Muslim... Technically Islam goes back to Moses (Moslem, reminder of different variants of spelling and pronunciation).

They are from the 1682 addition of the works of Jacob bohme, and are pretty typical of 17th century esoteric Christianity, which is pretty close to first century Christianity.
Perhaps they look that way by design. 😘 Fear does not serve you. Let go of the teachings of this world and open yourself to the wisdom of the father.
The Gnostic Nag Hamadi codex was not, is not christian. Thank Goodness.
Some of the early gnostics appropriated Christianity. So did a lot of later gnostic movements. In the 13th century Meister Eckhart, Joachim of Flora, The Brothers and Sisters of the Free Spirit, Beghards, Bogomils, Cathars also incorporated Christianity into gnosis. The latter four were destroyed by the church. I think gnosis can appropriate just about anything. We could probably formulate a gnostic creed with "Don Quixote" as the basic text. Maybe I'll do that someday.
