I think the program is nice and more intuitive than for example autocad electrical. As a real substitute for programs like eplan or ws-cad, I am missing some guides to use it correctly. It could be definetly used as an extension to block based electrical planning from ares commander, which I really like, because of BIM functionality and fast output. Im working in electrical planning of hvac systems and civil programs with need of detailed documentation of components. It would be really nice to have a tool for shematics and order lists. In curent stage I can not weigh up the benefits of using ares electrical in contrast to pure cad or tools I mentioned, but I think thats because im not into all the functionalitys right now. Are there .cfa setting files with spreadsheets as samples to download, like you show in the video? Also, when will it be released in final form and what will it cost?
Hi there, Thank you for your kind words. Indeed, we are still working on in-depth technical materials to deliver to our user community. Some things are essential to point out: ARES Electrical is designed to develop Industrial Electrical Enclosure designs in 2D (at first). We don't have any specific tool designed to work with BIM or HVAC, but you can use the AE regular tools to draw even if your project is these mentioned ones. Yes, we have already launched our first ARES Electrical 2025 SP0 version, which you can download at www.graebert.com/getareselectrical. You can activate a 30-day trial license. So far, we have already created several materials in our Help Center at help.graebert.com/electrical, and there are many more planned to be delivered. An official course is also planned to be launched. You can check the Help Center, and if you don't find something you want, please let us know at support@graebert.com. About Sales, please contact sales@graebert.com Looking forward to hearing from you. Best regards, Team Graebert
