Your use of “stupid” good in this made me smile 😊. Thanks for posting a great showing and review.
Glad you enjoyed it!
I ordered the Wurkkos TS11 with the 18650 tube. I like the throw and the UI, which I will have to learn. That's ok...I'm retired...lol 😮
Great stuff Randy!👍 Great review on this style light.
Remembering back to my days as a peace officer, we were very keen on having a flashlight that would light up things, and, be useful as an impact weapon. My choice in the 1980's was a 4 C cell Maglight with a halogen bulb. Decent amount of light for the day, and quite useful in close quarters combat with a very hostile individual, intent on putting you down rather than going to jail.
It rides now in my car's trunk (boot in the UK), for the aforementioned needs out on the road.
That Niwalker is amazing! Highly impressed with what it does. I'll be looking into finding one for use in the woods of East Texas, where I'm surrounded by trees and hostile creatures that are out there.
Many thanks mate, for the information and review of this particular version of lighting.
I'm hoisting a pint in your honour. Cheers! 🍻
They niwalker is sweeeet. Good review
Great breakdown and review. I’ve actually been looking for a mini thrower and this video couldn’t have been better timed. Thanks!
Glad I could help!
Just bought the ThruNite for 50% off ($25 US). but that Niwalker might make me buy another one. Too bad the white one is out of stock!
These are all very nice lights. Also consider the older Manker MC13 (18650 and 18350 tubes) and great U.I. But to me the King of small throwers is the Lumintop Thor 1. Also comes in Ti. Just don’t forget to bring a flooder for this one has zero of it….
Lad… I think if we here, is because we suffer from the same bug bite fever of budget throwers that are incredible performance compared to expensive nonsense.
Wurkkos, imalent, convoy, sofirm, emisar, lumintop, Mateminco….. in my book are the kings because the price and capabilities. And yes good looking too.
Thanks.
😆 Thank you. Glad you enjoyed the content. All my best
Nice mini flashlights I had 3 Wurkkos TS11 black with 18650 tube really working and TD01 has big Huge TIR len I think they're spot reals same TS30S Pro.
very nice ones, my favs are Javelot Mini and Lumintop GTA. And Lumintop Nano, for show-off.
The Javelot Mini is a great light. Have you tried the newer Javelot yet? That's a great light for sure
@@MoorlanderEDC no, i already own 2 lights in that size, Acebeam L17 and Sofirn IF22A, so ill pass. tbh im still recovering from the shock that i spend most money to a thrower and almost never used it: AcebeamK75! so now i buy throwers only if they look special.
edit: the spill on Mini making it usable for walking and the tail switch make it special for me. sorry for the long answer.
I've got a similar astrolux EA01, I like to use it on momentary more for quick looks into the distance when walking my dogs. It's a 2000mah 26350 battery with extra 26650, 21700 or 18650 options with the longer tube. Highly recommend it.
Some really cool flashlights! I have the Wurkkos TS11, and love it. I've heard it and pronounced it AN-DER-EE-UL. Allows you really customize the light ti your liking. And the colour lights are usually called auxiliary lights.
Thanks for the info! My stupid brain need to dump some of the rubbish stuff that's there and remember some real information
Totally makes sense! Just thought I'd give the info because I love all of the technical aspects to flashlights like these.
Me too. I felt kinda dirty making this content and only talking about the turbo and nothing else, but they way I waffle, this content could have been 6 hours long for four light 😆
It's pronounced an-doo-ril, it's a sword from lord of the rings.
I have a lot of throwers,( td01, ts11, if22a, L21b's, c8+, etc,) and i got my niwalker today, and immediately love it,, the throw is allmost identical to a convoy c8 cslnm1 but with a cleaner beam and more spill, for those who love throw this is a great option, specially with the two options, 18350-18650
Lumintop gt mini and micro and the nano with the 10440 tube 😅
I came here to say he needs a GT Nano haha
I own one with the 10440 tube it's awesome
One of my favorite lights !!
Where can one get a 10440 tube for the nano?
Great review bud
Orange one seems like a pain in the ass. Like why?
It's the user interface. It's uses the Audrino (not sure how it's spelt) which really is just a fancy UI for torch nerds 😂
How about the Maratac Ez-Throw? can use 18350 and 21700.
Hopefully I'll make s follow up on this as I have that light and some others in mind
The emitter choice makes just as much difference as the reflector. Putting that Osram emitter in any of the other lights would give very similar results.
The SFT40 is basically just a dedomed SST40. It is known to throw further with a smaller spot. The emitter difference alone is responsible for most of the difference between the Sofirn and the Thrunite in this video.
Oh, ok, I didn't realise it made that much of a difference. I'll keep that in mind, thank you for the heads up
Cowabunga in a flash.!
On that Niwalker What sort of battery life would you expect on say, the lowest setting and turbo mode ???
Moon - 1LM - 200hrs, Low - 25lm - 30hrs, Medium - 210 - 7hrs, High - 450 - 3.5. Turbo - 750lm - 2hrs
This is from the literature that comes with the light. I'd question the 2 hours on Turbo though. Seems a long time considering the HIgh is pretty close to that
❤
They're torches Moorlander, torches not flashlights 😂
Yeah... I'm disappointed in myself how I've picked up certain phrases and words. Gosh darn it! I think I use both equally but Moorlander brain kicks in when I'm making content
best is lumintop antman
Oh nice. I've been meaning to get an LEP light. Maybe this should be my first 🤙
Increase the bezel diameter and you increase the throw, nothing magical about that.
My son & I both have Niwalker flashlights that died.
There's nothing mini about a 58 mm diameter.
I would pick the Thrunite for its longer runtime. I do think all of these would be better with 18650. You're giving up too much performance for that 30mm length.
I have the sofirn and the thunite, i like the thrunite but its a shelf queen, my go to is my olight javelot mini (its 18500 and yeh proprietary olight battery) if i didnt have that then my go to would be my convoy c8+ it is also great and is 18650
lumintop gt mini and nano are better throwers than any of these.
Thanks for the heads up my friend. I'll make sure to pick them up for v2 of this content. I hope you're well and had a cracking weekend
