16:00 this is the must powerful scene in the entire film. The sanskrit chant in the background is soo powerful. I got goosebumps while watching.

I felt tension in the theatre. The speakers were blasted everything. I could feel the rumble of the ground inside me when the spears were being slammed down. It was nearly terrifying.
I really love Sivagami’s character. I think the reason why she was so pissed at Bahubali when she chose Devasena was because she was susprised (it’s the first time that he disobeyed her).
Second is that she love Bahlaladeva too. She was put in a very complicated position of defending her word, and defending Bahlaladeva’s honor. We see her in a previous scene showering gifts to Bahla, trying to ‘balance her love’ but it is obvious there’s ‘favoritism’ with Bahubali. That’s why she was so quick to promise Devasena to Bahlaladeva. It’s a combination of love, guilt and also pride on her part.
I also love that she became prone to manipulation because they found the obvious weakness in her, despite being a very adept politician, she is also a fierce mother of competitive boys.
This kind of character autonomy is seldom given to women!

Yeah some people try to twist the narrative and divide and South and North of India. Almost all the old 1000 year old temples have sanskrit inscriptions. Even in Tamil Nadu, and even in Hindu temples across Combodia, Thailand which were built by Cholas or their ally Hindu kings.
Telugu is like 70% sanskrit, especially the old Telugu(Grandhikam), which is slowly getting extinct since the advent of English.

Brahman, Kshethriya, Vaishya and Kshudhras are Varnas decided on the basis of one's duties in the society. One cannot born in a particular varna, its their karma decides what varna that person is.
On the other side, caste is Jathi. One can born in a particular jathi like Eezhava, Nayar, Pulayar etc. There are heaps of Jathis in Bharath but only 4 varanas. And all together they are called "Chathurvarneeyar".
