Baculites, ammonites, and ammolite were scattered all over the place surrounded by gorgeous river rocks like petrified wood, jaspers, and agates! We found some fantastic specimens including a perfect scaphites and a surprise monster agate! After our hunt, we head back to the shop to prep and cut our finds! Hello fellow rockhounds! Holding my breath...ammonite, bacculite...fossils, colors...awesomeness!!! That agate....lovely!
It is so cool that Rookie had time with you all from Montana. Kate was tickled on the time spent with him. And that huge agate is so pretty.
"Best day ever". Loved the 3 of you together. What fantastic finds.
Awesome finds. Sure glad Jesse got to do something special while he was here. And who better than the Master himself to show him! Thanks for sharing.
It was such a blast! I was happy he got to find such nice specimens while he was here! He caught the fossil bug really hard!!😂 I'm excited to see what he does with some of the baculites and Ammolite he got! Thanks so much for watching!!!😄
Talk about a great trifecta! Theo K., Rookie, and Montana Rock Mom. In no particular order of course. Great video of discovery by three of the greatest rock hounds on RUclips. Much love to all of you. More!!!!
Old Disabled House Bound Dusty Rusty Rockhound here: So good to see all of you in one video! Beautiful day, good friends, great finds... a good day was had by all... including me! Thanks, y'all!!!!
It seems to me that Theo is the glue that holds the rock hounders together. He has a delightful personality.😊
That agate is epic! But for me so is the bacculite. Nice finds as always.
Yeah it's always so hard to decide!! I have a serious soft spot for those baculites, especially after a polish! I'm excited to see how that agate looks after a cut(if I ever work up the nerve to cut it🤣). Thanks so much for watching!!!
That agate is wild!!!! Congratulations!!!!!
My favorite find was Rookies glad exclamation! And the DUDE! That followed. It's great seeing you guys having a blast! He's a great guy!
I love those finds! Absolutely stunning finds! I can only say that those finds are incredible!
So nice that Rookie Rockhounding loved his trip to U.S.A. Hope he found some of the rocks he wanted to find. Hope you all can re-visit him.
There were some phenomenal finds that day! Just amazing fossils which you prepped to perfection! And that absolutely stunning, ginormous, agate! That thing is a find of a lifetime! Bangers like that dont ever happen to some of us! Just Wow!!! And that scapphite was awesome! It looks so good! And all the baculites, with ammolite! And that last find for the day, baculite! It was a complete, amazing, huge, gorgeous baculite! What a stunner! Its so awesome! Thats something you definitely dont find every day! And you got to share ut all with Rookie! He is the kindest, most amazing soul ive never met! If the world would strive to be more like him, just think hiw much better we could be! What an amazing person he is! And im so glad he got to experience fossil hunting and agate hunting not only on the yellowstone, but with you Theo! You are so knowledgeable about the rocks, minerals, and fossils, in your area, and to be able to find then with a master like you, is truly a blessing! You two make an awesome duo! Thanks for sharing not only rookie, with us but your whole wedding! Thank you Theo and Alexis! And Kim! You feally do Rock! ❤
Great Charlie Brown music when polishing!!, What a fun fossil hunt
So informative!! Some day I'll get there... Thank you! ROCK ON!! 😁👍🏻🪨⛏️
Theo, your flat lap is starting to look more like a potters wheel! 😅 I'd say you've got your moneys worth out of it! And thanks for showcasing Rookie and Kim! Between the three of y'all, on the enthusiasm scale of 1 to 10, y'all were a rock solid (see what I did there 😊) 15.5! Great video and good vibes.
The color on those! This is just absolutely one of the coolest Rockhounding locations. Ammolite is freakin cool
Uuu, love everything u all find😍must have been so special day for u all❤
Very similar to the Pierre shale down here in Colorado! Lovely rocks and presentation
Absolutely! These are Bearpaw shale which is an extremely similar exposure to Pierre! We actually have some Pierre in eastern Montana as well! It produces some absolutely gorgeous fossils!!😄 Thanks so much for watching!!!
Incredible finds!!
Oh my gosh, the colors are incredible. Oh my God Theo defined the M a night and those Baculite and the find the mass of one. Wow and Jessie did really good for himself on his fines to my goodness. Keep up the good work I’m gonna have to look into your site, I got to have some of that stuff it’s beautiful oh my gosh it’s beautiful I’d like to see some of that small pieces of the Baculite and make a small cabochon out of it and put it into a ring or a pendant that all will be beautiful because of that a phenomenal❤❤❤❤
Wow, Theo..you did a great job finishing those. Fossils make my head hurt. I'm pretty sure I've found several fossils that I've brought home but can not figure out what I'm looking at. Even after looking through fossil identification books, I can't figure anything out. Needless to say, I'll stick to rocks and let you take care of the fossils. I also love the enthusiasm the three of you have!! Didn't you find another agate with a white chevron on it? If so, you're on a roll.
Oh hell yeah you went over there !! What a great choice mate I’ve not been watching but I’ll catch up on the vids. IDE love to go meet Theo haha your lucky 👌👌😁
LOVE all your content, Theo 💯...I find myself wishing I lived there, cuz I'd live at the river 🤣...just amazing how many beautiful and unique treasures are waiting to be found
That was a FABULOUS day
Dude! Awesome finds, thanks for sharing
That massive agate that you’re hovering over trying to figure out, should you cut it or not? When you do slab it don’t make such a thick cut try to make it a little thinner then you can get so many more out of it. Oh those are going to be so beautiful. That is massive massive agate. Wow.❤❤❤❤
Lovely. Is the ammolite the colorful material that grows on the ammonite?
So cool of a video! Loved all of it! Even learned a few things about fossils 😍
👀good fossil finds 👍
I'm on that long one came out😎
Play of color fever. He's gone fossilholic. Good on you for infecting another one of us. Opalholic here.
My 3 FAV PPLS heck yeah !
Have you tried filming the pieces you show us at a height of the light in the room? It might cut down on the glare, but still be lit up enough to see it? 🤷♀️ Just a thought I had 🤔🤭🤷♀️
How does one join in on adventures. Find 1000s of agates/ petrified wood on the Yellowstone River and always looking for new spots or cool people to agate/fossil hunt with. From Billings to miles city and to bear canyon places I go. Great videos
You promised Rookie. You have to cut that agate.
Oh no!
15:00 can I buy that please hun ❤❤
Instead of cutting that magnificent agate, maybe you can just polish the husk off of it??
Where is the agate? Please polish that one!
What do you mean scrap? Do you mean trash? If so I want to be your trash person!
No no!😂 Definitely never trash!!! I meant cut up or polish down for the ammolite. I was hoping it would be salvageable as an ammonite specimen but it's just so dang weathered it wouldn't clean up nicely. But it would absolutely make a gorgeous ammolite specimen or some beautiful ammolite cabs!! There's always a plan b-z when it comes to fossils😄 thanks so much for watching!!!
Awesome. Glad to Jesse stateside.
