We need to have more conversations with Ian. I disagree with him on a few things, but he has a very wide breadth of knowledge that few hold. His book Superpower: Three Choices for America's Role in the World is a really great read.

One of the best discussions. Issues related to relevances of international and intergovernmental organizations were particularly very important. Thank you.

Plz try to get an interview with James Mattis and also with Condoleezza Rice. It would be super fascinating. Liked this one very much.

great interview, Ana. You got more out of Bremmer than one typically gets on his own channel. The only downside was those socks...

I wonder if the issue of the relevance of organizations that were established decades ago is critical. For instance OPEC. We find it relevant in the sense that it serves the purpose and sometimes quite well. Nevertheless we don’t know if it can still survive.

The US elites think that the system of government is more important leadership, and the latter does not matter much, that is where the US is totally wrong, it does. There had been a LACK of strong, intelligent, experienced leadership for a long time. Obama came close to being an intelligent leader but the system and lack of experience in running a government and further compounded by the US system that did not allow him to do what was required, eight years at the white house were on most occasions wasted. Remember any government is run by people and people running it matters.
The state of affairs of the US currently experiencing now is due largely to its elites in disarray and the system of government that needs reforms. I see no bright spots in the future insight.

Why must all countries be friends or foe. The world shouldn't be like that. Its this type of doctrines that creates chaos to the world. This is definitely not the way to built a better world.

Is it necessary to be so adversarial? I wouldn't want to talk. Just me.

Hard to take Ana Kasparian serious she is very biased Geopolitics should keep as apolitical as possible and I clearly see Ana Kasparian even thou she is trying to be ojective I can't kep noticing she is struggeling with it.

I am surprised that she didn't lunge at him and say, "Yeah, I'm f**king better than you!"

I think its inaccurate to say that dysfunctional system in the US is similar to almost all other developed countries. The US is the only country where the party in power has zero interest in helping the average person. The US is the only country that has medical bankruptcies and tens of thousands dying because they lack access to health care.
