Crowds look on as bridesmaids and pageboys climb into car. SV of Archbishop of Canterbury leaving Lambeth Palace in car.
Crowds outside Buckingham Palace (quick shot of children in prams looking up). Bride, Lady Alice Montagu-Douglas-Scott gets into coach. Nice shot of her through coach window. The coach moves off. Various shots of the crowd lined streets as she makes her way to Buckingham Palace.
Crowds move closer as Duke of Gloucester, Prince Henry, and his wife come out on the the balcony. They are joined by other members of the Royal family - including King George V, Queen Mary, Duchess of York and Princesses Elizabeth and Margaret. Royals wait for coach to leave taking the couple off to the station to go on their honeymoon. Confetti and petals are thrown as they set off.
Various shots of the couple in the coach as they make their way to St. Pancaras station. The happy couple chat to friends and relatives before setting off on their train.

Alice was a very pretty woman and she was very kind, too. Her younger son walked behind Queen Elizabeth's coffin in all the recent funeral ceremonies.
Her wedding dress was very pretty - instead of the usual white it was a lovely pale pink and looked gorgeous. Her bridesmaids included Queen Elizabeth II and her sister, Princess Margaret who also wore pink.
This Royal was one of the late Queens uncles marrying in 1935 a son of GeorgeV and brother of the Duke of Windsor 87 years ago time goes by life is but a dream

I saw a balcony appearance once (Queen Mother's 100th birthday) and was surprised how tiny the figures are on the balcony to most of the crowd. If they did a little handwave no one would see it so they have to exaggerate the movement. Or rather they did then. I think they're more conscious of TV close-ups now.
George V being his usual rude self. Not acknowledging anyone, not talking to anyone, just abruptly turning and leaving.
His health was very poor at this time. He died just three months later.
