Diggy is the master of riding a groove. In the early 2000s I went to see him at the old eleven50 (later Opera) in downtown Atlanta, and watched him fuck with one track for 30 minutes. He would build it, add different effects, then break it, drop it back to its essentials, then build it again. I was gobsmacked. Not once did he switch tracks. Like the rest of us, he was in a sort of tribal trance. As a club DJ at the time, that set taught me so much about track control, and crowd control. So thanks Jphn, you definitely made me a better DJ.

Hope it'll be better than in Muzika at NYC lat year . \ I have been at Twillo, like 5 times, at their legendary monthly residency. 1998-1999 plus a few Bedrock parties !! in London.+ Ibiza 2003,4,5, John was spinning actual vinyl records back in the day. He was missing the beat while mixing ,many times , it was so funny, untill Sasha picked up.. The did BTB, like, 3 tunes each.. My point is their Twillo trip music journey lasted for 12+ hours, from deep dark NY tribal house beats to full on british trance ! they stopped , like at 2pm on Saturday. Now it's 4 am Friday , NY, USA . All clubs are closed at 4 am nowadays in NYC What a joke ! No wonder our kids are into hip hop !
I remember leaving Twilo at 6am one Saturday morning, the Coat girl cheerfully said 'see ya tomorrow!' cuz I'd come for Junior Vasquez Sunday mornings too... I was only 15 🙃
