Graphics are still absolutely beautiful and the original Gnasher sound is pure art. After playing Gears for 4,000 years I’ve realized I play the best when I’m stoned on good weed 🌿, the bud gets me so focused! Also helps me calm down and really pick my shots carefully helps me with my movement too much more smooth.

Hey. I'm writing a Retrospective for Gears of War 1 with a heavy emphasis on multiplayer aspects. Can I use clips from this video in my retrospective? Specifically, this has a great HQ version of an opponent crabwalking, the OG scoreboards, the janky ass shotgun execution glitch at 3:20, the spectating, melee'ing and pistoling the air at 6:50 to ask for the 1v1, and the bouncy nature of the final kills. I'm really hoping your cool with it cuz this checks off a bunch of things from my search list and it's high quality. I just want to be able to document all the janky ass beautiful imperfections that made Gears of War 1 such a gamechanger back in 2006-2008.
