Wow, the landscape is amazing, like in another planet. Your journey is so adventurous. I think your channel is an extraordinary solo riding shows than others.
On some bikes, there is some more petrol left on the other side of the tank from the tap, so if you lean it over, you can get some more fuel out of the tank. Look into it.
@@MarcTravels Anyway, you always seems to meet some nice people when things go wrong. It happen to me in Switzerland in 1985 when a fuel pump broke on a combi.
😆 EPIC. My buddy had a habit of leaving his chargers plugged in. 3 times on our trip his battery was dead🤭 We would put a rope on our pegs then stand on it while pulling him to bump start. Fun times😄 KLR has a secret couple liters on the right side. It gets trapped, and when empty you can lay the bike down to get the fuel over the frame to the petcock. Roughly 30km range
Wow Marc lovely place and very nice German people for helping you get fuel love the river crossings the by the look it was breathtaking enjoy your 2 night stay you need rest definitely stay safe 👍👍
I carry a thin hose, about 1,5 m long, to pump out the fuel from the car - it weights way less than 1 liter canister and not requires special place, I will have only to find the empty botle or sth. In worst case i will lay bike near the car and put the hose direct into tank. That's the plan, haven't tested it before :).
Nice Self Wash Stations 😹 at the river crossing! 💪😎 You made a big mistake there. 😬 That you went until all the gas in the tank ran out. If you stopped immediately when you felt empty... You were very lucky with those people. 🙏😊 What a day 😁🤝
What an experience you've had!!! But you see, that there are always people willing to help!))) Once i run out of fuel on my xr250 and it took also a while till i actually managed to start it!))) Liked when you said:" scheiße in german!)))
Haha yeah, I cut out a lot of cursing 🤬😂 anyways, I figured that it was my fault cause I tried to keep it running after I ran out of fuel and the carburetor ran completely dry. So yeah next time I won’t do that, just stop right away:) hopefully there is no next time 🤣
@@MarcTravels hopefully!!! But it's all about the adventure!!! Sometimes these difficulties lead us to different cool experiences and meeting nice 👍😊 new people!))

We’ll observed my friend. The phone is waterproof so no worries there:) just if I would have lost it in the water would be lame…maybe find my iPhone would have worked 😬thanks for tuning in 🤙🏼
Cool, man!! 👍👍😉 What's the average fuel consumption of honda dominator per 100 kms?? So clean water on those river crossings that you've had....wow!!) And i imagine how quiet is there!!))
Hey man, thanks for watching! So apparently it’s very different cause I get a lot of messages where people tell me what their Honda takes, but it all comes down to the right setup of the carburator. To answer your question, my Honda usually takes 5L per 100kms give or take. In Germany I get the 102 octane ultimate fuel and with that it’s even less. On this off road dirt and sand tracks it was way higher consumption tho, that’s why we ran out of fuel 😃 hope I could help you out, cheers Marc 🤙🏼
@@MarcTravels yeah, thanks 👍 for the respond.... it's a pretty good consumption of 5 liters...not bad at all!)) Of course for off-roading it's much higher.
