13 seconda left Just incase you missed this little detail from Golden State Warriors' last play, this was a hammer action designed for Klay Thompson to shoot a three-pointer coming off a screen from Andrew Wiggins.
However, LeBron James recognized it quickly even before Draymond Green crossed the three-point line. Consequently, he pointed at Anthony Davis to cover the corner which threw off the entire Warriors' play, resulting to a turnover.

Thanks man. Great recognition. It’s stuff like this that make you appreciate Lebron more. He literally has seen and knows it all. I know it’s just one play but this kind of stuff is going to affect the Warriors a bit when they watch the film later.
You have Lebron covering Klay and Davis covering Wiggins. Wiggins then screens LeBron, so it is common sense that AD then needs to pick up Klay in the corner. Why would Davis covering the corner throw off the Warriors?.. Also baffling how after Green throws it right to AD, AD was not able to protect the ball. Or at least call time out. Instead, AD stupidly allows Warriors to tie him up for a jump ball, giving Curry another possible chance to tie with 5 seconds left. That could have easily been a disaster.
@@Better_Call_Raul It’s easy to say that now but sometimes, a defender has his own man and he has to follow him. And you wouldn’t know what type of play the Warriors was gonna run. In this case, without Lebron reminding AD, it might have been confusing and Klay might have a shot. Again, this was split second decision and it won the game. And for the last point, I think AD thought they were gonna foul him. That’s probably why.
I been saying that, if LBJ and AD stay healthy and play well, plus 2 out of 4 role players step up (Russell/Reaves/Hachimura/Schroder), then lakers ll win. But damn, Lonnie walker stepped up in the 4th with the game of his life (so far), calm cool and collected, casually bringing the lakers home. now the lakers got 5 role players that can step up and win the game big time. scary.
no they don’t. schroeder is shitty, russel can be clamped easily, reavers nice as hell tho, but im bias cause he from my home state. hachimura only gets playing time when he’s playing well

Klay Thompson is the key. If he misses they lose. If he hits his shots they win. Curry will always deliver. But that's not enough against this Lakers team. Thompson is the factor that decides it. If Kevin Durant would have still been with the Warriors they would have swept this series. But, Green had to open his outs as usual saying they didn't need Durant when he got injured. Congrats Lakers. You will be 2023 Champions. I hope I'm wrong. But down 3-1 it's over.

Don’t want to sound like a Bronsexual but this is what I feel separates Bron from Kobe and Arguably MJ. He will do whatever it is he sees is the smart play at the time weather that’s scoring rebounding passing ect. He allowed a bench player who started to go off to continue to go off gave him the ball in position to score once he saw he was delivering and ready for the moment. Maximizing the weapons around him is something Jordan nor Kobe do. I feel like he still has some to go before he passes MJ 100% but I feel as if him and Kobe shouldn’t be in the same arguments anymore honestly.
