Rationalizing the denominator with two radicals in the denominator

- Опубликовано: 2 ноя 2014
- 👉 Learn how to divide rational expressions having square root binomials. To divide a rational expression having a binomial denominator with a square root radical in one of the terms of the denominator, we multiply both the numerator and the denominator by the conjugate of the denominator and then simplify. When the square root in the denominator is covering both terms of the denominator, we multiply both the numerator and the denominator with the denominator and simplify.

Thank you sir! I had a deviation of priorities and math fell low on the totem pole. The result was that I am trying to get back into the flow of algebra after two months, and needless to say, I'm struggling a bit. Well, I WAS... Your videos have put these different equations and situations so cut and dry, clear as glass, and right as rain. Thanks again!!
Somehow you teach better than somebody in real life you can ask questions too. That's talent
Um, I think he is also in real life....
@@abendeavours4200 yh lol
I’m refreshing for my accuplacer after not being in school for 7 years and you are a lifesaver!!
when u uploaded this video i was in 2nd class .........and i reached now 9 th class....its useful to me....thank you sir
i am from india 🇬🇭........love from india😊
Do you have any of these examples with x values square roots and brackets stuff like x(x-4)/3-/2x+1
Thanks man. I thought I wouldnt be able to find out how to do this on he internet lol.
Thank you for all of the help, your instructional videos are bar none.
I saw in a different video that you don't add the index number, can some explain this please?
I'm in online math and I feel like your my teacher instead of my actual teacher 🤣🤣🤣
Yes thank you, for these videos they are very helpful.
awesome! happy to help
thank you sir! I have a precalc exam today and this was perfect ffor cathcing up on what i still need to know
Sir couldn't you have put everything over denominator -45 and simplify out to get root 33 - 2 root 22 over the denominator -5 ? please respond
you saved me from failing math thx
Am I the only guy who bought the merch? I paid to get bullied.
What merch
@@danielle7975 The Biran Mclogan merch, my brudda
Well explained
Mr.McLogan.Could you explain to me how negative square root 14 x negative square root 14= -2 square root 14???
first you so 14x-2x5=-92 then divide that by the cooefficent of 7 which is 4
Really useful, thanks!
you are very welcome!
Your all videos are so help ful sir
Thank you very much
at 2:44, did anyone else notice that the sevens are different?
u literally ruined the thnk u by mentioning the 7s
This is so helpful.
happy to help glory!
Please tell me how to calculate (√10)^√10
very nice content! family friendly!
Sir good teaching
Thankss👍🏼
Thanks
Very informative, but, what if there are three terms, two of which are radical? Does the conjugate still work?
I am sure there is a way just not aware of it
Teaching is good
Thx for da help
thank you :)
thank you
god bless you!!!👍
I'm a little confused I don't get it properly...
Tysm

2 more days and its gonna be 6 years old😉
tysm for helping me to solve my khmer exam!!
Satisfactory 🤔😐
thanks!

Sir plz explain this type question (a +x) + (a-x)/ (a+x) - (a-x)
(X+Y)/(X+Y) ???
Thats just 1, anything divided by itself is 1
How would you rationalize the denominator if it had 3 radicals?
He showed it in the video
Awesome
thanks!
if the denomitor is negative than🤔
same process
Bruh.. right @1:55..
haha yep
Hello sir , can we rationalize the numinator also ?
I am Kushwah kachi
You don't have to, you just need to simplify however you can with a square root
Are you a teacher ?? I mean in u.s ???..just asking you teach good
yes I am Jacksonville Florida
@@brianmclogan cool

Shut-up bitch
EN ESPAÑOL
Is no positive
Did he not multiply out the denominator wrong?
Sean O'Sullivan no he did it correctly (a-b)(a+b)=a•a-b•b remember your difference of squares
uh.sir what do you mean (A-B) (A+b) A square-B square (✿◡‿◡)
It is a formula brother 😀
(A - b ) (A +b) = A square - b square
Hey abdirahman. Thats known as the difference of squares
Great done
thanks!
Gay
Speak n English
I dont think you distributed your denominator correctly
WTF
Am i the only one who didn't understand
Press like if you are too.
i didn’t get it either ugh
This guy is awful, such a bad teacher, you can tell he is an American
He doesn't know anything about this... He just learned this question and done I this video ... 27-72=-42 he was saying 😂😂
sure, okay
So? Just because you can subtract easily (I inferred based on your boastful comment), doesn't mean you can insult others.
If you are watching this video, he obviously knows how to do something which you don't. You are very arrogant and I take it as a sure sign that you are masking inability
with your arrogance.
Your the dumb one
Thanks
Happy to be there for you
