Rationalizing the denominator with two radicals in the denominator

  • 👉 Learn how to divide rational expressions having square root binomials. To divide a rational expression having a binomial denominator with a square root radical in one of the terms of the denominator, we multiply both the numerator and the denominator by the conjugate of the denominator and then simplify. When the square root in the denominator is covering both terms of the denominator, we multiply both the numerator and the denominator with the denominator and simplify.

    Thank you sir! I had a deviation of priorities and math fell low on the totem pole. The result was that I am trying to get back into the flow of algebra after two months, and needless to say, I'm struggling a bit. Well, I WAS...     Sir couldn't you have put everything over denominator -45 and simplify out to get root 33 - 2 root 22 over the denominator -5 ? please respond

      first you so 14x-2x5=-92 then divide that by the cooefficent of 7 which is 4

      You don't have to, you just need to simplify however you can with a square root
