Really it took 2 months to make? I thought maybe a month but he also probably busy with other stuff aswell. Well he definitely worked hard on this he cooked! I'm really enjoying the start of this series and it's quite interesting especially what will happen in the future but I like characters and the voice acting is great. Thanks to Baal and you guys for this.

the main character is so disinterested in women hitting on him isn't him being dense, but that he was basically traumatized as a kid seeing his father do the dirty.

Not gonna lie to you, I was NOT expecting him to say "I think she needs a friend." I was 100% preparing for him to make some creepy line about how attractive she was despite them being related.

I once played a rather quixotic paladin. He was a human paladin who served a dwarf god, shortly after having a revelation from being kicked in the head by his mule. He left his life as a turnip farmer to go smite evil in Torag's name. He was dense and sometimes absurd. I could imagine him taking a vow like that.

You know, his comics portrayed a fantasy world that was hilarious. I'm glad there is finally a story set in this world. And I cant wait for BB to make a campaign setting guide.
In retrospect with part 2 out, both of their parents were kind and supportive- In their own ways. Chadford Diccard is a dedicated father, supportive of his (many) wives and his sons decisions... and even upon learning of the situation with his new stepdaughter, pushes his son in the right way to help her. Vellathia Ythlin raised her third daughter Zana with a level of love and kindness that practically unheard of for Dark Elves. They might have flaws but I feel like they are good people. And its amazing how well written everyone is.

Well, there was a comic where an elf lady married a wholesome ork gentleman, only for the elf's thirsty mother to come crashing down and attempt to state her claim to her now son-in-law's loins, before being taken away by some guests and the security staff. The bride was visibly embarassed, but the groom shook it off and married her still and went on with his life with her.😊
There was one where the childhood friend was helping the hero withhis journey and was gonna confess her love after they safe the world, only for the Hero to marry someone else.... though he also draws some happy endings like that one wgere the dwarf marrys an orc lady with her whole mercenary band of orc ladies and made wine for a living.
If you think that a legendary bard in a world with magic has no way of getting contraception, your immagination needs work. The reason he has a kid is because he needed to experience a mistake to learn from it, or he wanted to have a kid at least once.(Zana is a kid from previous relationship)
Shoutout to artists who were rejected by the entertainment industry only to turn to the Internet and get famous. I hope the editor who rejected Baalbuddy back in the day is pulling their hair out now
I can see why it was rejected. . . I mean, this isn’t my cup of tea, but I like to hate-watch/hate-read while not against the idea of hate-indulging more of the creator’s work but appreciating it too.

Trust me, this industry doesn't have a low bar for shame enough to say Baalbuddy's works are "too much". At least Baalbuddy plays into the trope and has fun with it. Plus I doubt this was his work when he applied. He probably wanted to do something more serious. He's got the talent.

Redo of Healer is a different genre entirely and I'm not steppping into that... As for Ballbundy he did smut in his signature at this point style but if I remember correctly he made a couple commisions for the whole 'horny advances rejected' and people loved it, he stuck with it and his popularity skyrocketed - he found a niche nobody knew was there. So he wasn't per se rejected, it's just in the beggining he tried to exist in overly saturated market ^^'

Coming back to this after more of Zana's backstory was revealed, yeah she really does need a friend. Did not expect this story to actually go so hard with the backstory in mind.

I have a sinking feeling that the Goddess of Order, Regula might be uhhhh... very wild. "Personal Law" is very broad and doesn't even exclude debauchery, and this is Baalbuddy were talking about. You could also say Chadford is following his own personal law of having a new wife everytime he comes back. 😂

I wonder if Paladin Will gets to meet more step siblings, both brothers and sisters, as a result of his Bard father meeting a lot of wives as his harem. They might form a club together with jackets.
3:42 Laugh all you like, but to _"only poop standing up"_ is uncomfortable, messy, undignified... and that's EXACTLY why it makes a great paladin vow! Maintaining that oath requires discipline, humility, planning, and work ethic. Every time he needs to go, it's another trial. A test of both will and faith! Pride is the deadliest sin and the greatest threat to ALL paladins, who far too often succumb to a literal "holier than thou" mindset. Yet through one simple vow, that paladin has ensured he will always remain humble!
That was so amazing, and so well done. Baalbuddy's writing and artistry are always top-notch, but this made made me love every single character, even the ones like the guard who are just side characters. I think a lot of that also comes down to the stellar voice acting on everyone's part. They're not just believable, but they're incredibly funny and personable too. I always enjoy performances where voice actors can just let loose and be. Great work on everyones end.

Poor Aubry, constantly friendzoned by Will. And now she has competition with Will's Dark Elf Step-Sister Zana. Chadford though is pretty wholesome with how supportive and caring for his son he is, even when Will wants nothing to do with him. And he's also caring for his Step-Daughter Zana by encouraging Will to at least be friends with her as he could tell she needed one. Chadford is surprisingly a wholesome and compassionate guy behind the gigabard persona he has going for him.
Im so happy that Balbuddy astrtee his own comic. He is really great at humour and creating unigue situations so I cant wait to see more chapters of thsi one! Thank you for dubbing

This is the pinnacle of perfection, the best way to start a Baalbudy and Solus Astoria series; the great thing is that it's only the first part. I've enjoyed these 14 minutes and every single one of its previous episodes more than any manga or anime that's come out so far this year. I need an animated version of this, because the humor is hilarious and the characters are unique. XD
I've seen a few MCs with similar personalities in fantasy anime. It's ALWAYS funny! xD This would make a fantastic show! Baalbuddy never dissapoints! Keep up the good work Solus! Absolutely love all your dubs!
while we all know and love the baalbuddy comics and art for the longest time, the voice actors of this channel are the ones that i would like to appreciate right now. They really bring life to the wacky baalbuddy worlds. Fantastic VA jobs, honestly better than many "big screen" productions ❤

I love this this character SO much! 😂 I love the idea of a player-character with an origin such as this. The son (or daughter) of a famous adventuring Bard. Becoming a Paladin and trying to escape from under the shadow of their family name and the legacy of their parent. It could make for an amazing character to play in a D&D campaign!

@@undeadban2119 in dnd your characters all have stats that do different things, think of them as the building blocks for all the things your character can do, Bard’s are characters heavily built around the Charisma stat, which boosts the power of their spells, and their ability to perform music, persuade people, or lie to them. Because of this, people tend to play their bards as aggressively horny, or seductive, think like a medieval rockstar

That was so amazing, and so well done. Baalbuddy's writing and artistry are always top-notch, but this made made me love every single character, even the ones like the guard who are just side characters. I think a lot of that also comes down to the stellar voice acting on everyone's part. They're not just believable, but they're incredibly funny and personable too. I always enjoy performances where voice actors can just let loose and be. Great work on everyones end.

Poor Aubry, constantly friendzoned by Will. And now she has competition with Will's Dark Elf Step-Sister Zana.
Chadford though is pretty wholesome with how supportive and caring for his son he is, even when Will wants nothing to do with him. And he's also caring for his Step-Daughter Zana by encouraging Will to at least be friends with her as he could tell she needed one. Chadford is surprisingly a wholesome and compassionate guy behind the gigabard persona he has going for him.

This is the pinnacle of perfection, the best way to start a Baalbudy and Solus Astoria series; the great thing is that it's only the first part. I've enjoyed these 14 minutes and every single one of its previous episodes more than any manga or anime that's come out so far this year. I need an animated version of this, because the humor is hilarious and the characters are unique. XD

I love this this character SO much! 😂 I love the idea of a player-character with an origin such as this. The son (or daughter) of a famous adventuring Bard. Becoming a Paladin and trying to escape from under the shadow of their family name and the legacy of their parent. It could make for an amazing character to play in a D&D campaign!
