Really enjoyed that film 👍 - you have edited it so well, that it captures the essence of a road trip: the process of continually experiencing and seeing new things, whilst always moving forward. Look forward to the next one.
That's incredibly kind of you, thank you ever so much. I always think my editing must be dreadfully chaotic so I'm ever so pleased that you think it works. It was such a splendid adventure and continuously exciting!!
Hello!! Yes, we were saying that too. At one point in this video I filmed a motorcyclist Infront of the car so you could get an idea of scale. Everything is so magnificent and humungous, we were saying things like "is that massive and far away or smaller and close?"
Just gives the feel of the vast country of America. Men and women can get lonely there and form views and opinions out of the wilderness. Great music again.
Hello and thank you very much and yes, it's a huge, vast and incredible landscape. I'm very interested by what you said about forming views and opinions out of the landscape... I'd love you to elaborate on that. I think that if the views and opinions were nature-based they'd be intriguing... unfortunately though, even in a wilderness there's TV and the internet and maybe that's what you mean? When I was in Wyoming I was thinking about how overpoweringly influential the landscape would be if you lived there...but what I'd miss would be culture. Anyway, I am intrigued by your comment and thank you again very much.
Hello Sophia Thankyou for taking the time to reply to my comment. In vast thinly populated areas us humans can be very in tune with nature and our surroundings infact becoming part of its rythms especially in agriculture. This can lead to seeing the outside world from a narrow perspective and can lead to being less open minded. Often social interaction can be down to family or mainly a small goup of people where perhaps a dominant person can influence general thinking among the group in a good or bad way. Of course as you say television, phones and the internet are widely available to browse and the computer algorithms will quickly pick up on notions and feed more information reinforcing a view. Without regular social interactions and hearing other points of view its easy to become very single minded. I'm not sayng there aren't free thinking people living in relative isolation as I'm sure there are many.
@phillipchandler8862 I thought maybe that's what you meant and it's a very, very interesting view and I agree with you. You've put it very delicately and thoughtfully too, well done. And thank you ever so much for explaining it.
You were so close to the first bison 🦬 my grandson would have loved that, amongst his plastic animal collection he has two bisons. Corvids must sense you are a friend ! (I tried to insert a corvid emoji but disappointingly it comes out like this 🐦⬛). The varied scenery in Wyoming alone is amazing but it is slightly larger in area than the UK so like most American states it is big - and its population is less than a tenth of the UK’s ! 🇬🇧
It's insane isn't it!! Wyoming is huge, unpopulated and dramatically glorious. I was googling statistics when I got back.. very interesting. As to bison.. they're gloriously splendid... phenomenonally shaped! I saw even more in Oklahoma!! Take your grandson!!
Sophia, you're way too cool to be travelling through America in a car. You should be riding Triumph Bonneville turning heads and breaking hearts wherever you go , stay safe little lady, have fun.
That's very sweet of you, thank you very much indeed. Last time I did it on my own on a Harley. This time my nephew was with me and so we were in the car and it was brilliant fun and excellent company. He had to politely ask me to stop talking a couple of times... I've got heaps of energy. You keep safe too and thank you again!
Hard to convey the vastness of the landscape. CinemaScope and Technicolor couldn't do it justice. Is it Bear Hunting season ? Maybe the Bears were all tucked away in various people's deep freezers.🙄🐻🐻🥶 What's you view on tourism and personal freedom? I mean you can buy Cigars, Cigarettes and Alcohol and yet be banned from smoking and drinking pretty much everywhere, including your balcony now?🤷🏼♂ This BS is intensifying throughout Europe, it's not just America. Ride safe. Looking forward to the next instalment.😎👍🏼
You're right, it's definitely very difficult to convey the magnificence of that landscape... it's huge!! And mesmerising!! As to smoking... they're even talking about banning it from beer gardens!! I don't think they'd be able to carry that though. As to personal freedom...I'll just carry on doing as I do!! And... it's lovely to hear from you!
Just looked up definition of 'Cool'....it simply said Sophia Lionheart. 🤗

Beautiful scenery is hard to comprehend the scale of the USA 🇺🇸
