Gooooood good good good. Couldn't recommend Heritage enough for the daily wear dad. Strong enough to carry with less sprays, tasteful enough to carry the simplicity. The efficient man.
Just got Nobile today, a 1992 bottle. Fully agree, mossy, smokey, classy and a beauty of a bottle. Its not linear from the off,it goes through a few slight changes 🔥
@@TheScentientMan yeah iv haven’t got much left myself . One of my favourites you’d be hard pressed convincing me of a better fragrance for that genre given price .
Love Heritage! I've also ordered the Bijan. Haven't tried the others, but I do know well Monsieur de Givenchy that's supposed to be similar to Pour Monsieur and the current version is thin and less complex than the vintage ones. I have a 2019 bottle and my father had the 1976 version: after shave, edt and soap (gift set format). I've used those 70's marvels back in the mid 90's when I was in 7/8th grade and I can tell you that even the a/s was nuclear compared to the current edt... so I'm sure your father is right regarding the Chanel fragrance. Anyways, a group of 5 gentlemanly fragrances for me (apart from the mentioned Heritage and Monsieur de Givenchy) would be: Bvlgari Pour Homme Soir, Dior Eau Sauvage Parfum (2017), Chanel Egoiste, Lalique Pour Homme (lion) and Loewe Essencia (edt). All the best and take care!
Good to know maybe a good idea to seek out a vintage of pour monsieur. I like your list. Lalique are quite reliable scents and often found discounted. I’ll have to try that Loewe.
Tough decision but I’d say Nobile. That green freshness is just something I don’t find nowadays in the same level of quality. Really greta fragrance but so are the other two.
Interesting, never had or smelled any of these. My favs are M7 (original formula is best) Opium pour homme (the blue lid one) L’Instant de Guerlain pour Homme Happy Clinique Eau sauvage original I’ve got the clear blue Korous summer fragrance which is also fantastic for hols Tried any of these?
Great choices. I used to have M7 in the square bottle many years ago and had a decant of the original. Opium is a classic and I need to upgrade and get a bottle. Never tried the Clinique but hear nothing but good reviews.
@@TheScentientMan The original M7 was the fragrance that put Tom Ford on the map, and his current creations still have an echo of M7. The Clinique is a lovely light summery fragrance , as named promotes happiness 😊 and prompted me to stop at the department stores and try a few of your suggestions.
Acqua di Parma would be a great place to start. Colonia Intense, Essence or Futura are all great choices. Also, Boucheron pour homme and Eau Sauvage Extreme (or of course the original).
@@bushido1111 I think you can own both. From memory the edp was different. I’d like to buy it actually because my current edt bottle is almost finished!
@@RichMitch only tried Etro on paper a few years and thought they were good but then forget about them. I've seen you mention them a few times so will have to go back to the line.
Great video and I enjoyed it and I'm going to try these fragrances and thank you for the Happy Father's day shoutout and have a blessed day

Somebody needs to release a fragrance called The Efficient Man lol

Great purchase. Glad you found it. I haven’t worn it in a while as it’s rare but I think I will tomorrow.
I've been meaning to get that Bijan for men for a while now, always forget about it 🙏
All are excellent. Great to see you regularly making videos again!
Cheers good to be back and hear from you
Pour monsieur is timeless .
I’ll add New York intense ( Nicolai parfums) . Great choices 👍
That's another great one. I went through my 30 ml bottle really quickly.

My friend, I love your fragrance reviews. You do an EXCELLENT job explaining each fragrance and what makes them special.
Thank you so much 👍

@@TheScentientMan Yes, Loewe Esencia is worth checking out. Loewe Pour Homme is also very good, especially the vintage version(s).
Gucci Nobile is definitely one of the best aroumatic fougere that have been sold in the market.
It’s a beauty. Such a shame it was discontinued.
I'm a fan of all the ones you mentioned...except the Bijan Man. I should love it, but it's just okay. Cheers!
Thanks for watching, Jim
Bijan not wearable imo pour monsieur a dream and scandal parfum is my signature.great list
Thanks for watching, John
Great list, would possibly add Lalique pour home, and The classic Terre d’Hermes.
Both great choices. I've been wearing Terre recently. I'll be doing a comparison video soon.
would love to see your dad in a video again, maybe see his favourite scent for each season?
Good suggestion, Karl. I'll see what he says.
I’m so intrigued by Nobile. Between Rive Gouche tin can vintage, Nobile or Kouros (vintage) what you like best?

Any recommendations for an older gent for summer.

Is it redundant to have both versions pour Monsieur edt and edp

Those Italians know a thing or two. Lorenzo Villoresi is a house that needs more love. Santa Maria Novella too.
