During the 2008 gas price crisis, the carmakers started building economy cars and mpg was the most important. Audi came up with the A4 front wheel drive CVT transmission which really only got 2 mpg better than the Quattro. Many problems emerged with the CVT transmission. Worn out mounts, broken bands suffering catastrophic failures. Stay far away from these models. The tiptronic if properly maintained will always get you home….
Das sind nur die unterschiedlichen stufen. Da wie du ja siehst bei mehr Lastwunsch z.b im oberen drehzahlbereich das Übersetzungsverhältnis stark verändert werden muss
it wont go higher then 40.9L i tried, i guess automatic gearbox makes it more efficiant. cause my friend with his golf mk4 2.8 4 motion manuel he does when he pull 50L / on 100km lol
How did I literally never know that Audi made a CVT?!
don't feel bad i just found out too 🙂
@@zaviachaos lol yea me too!
Because it's crap and no one buys them or loves them
so weird that in S it feels like a normal automatic and shifts "gears"
Yes that's true
They are simulated gears
the weirdest part is that the simulated gears, in fact, make it slower.
@@nazimelon6653 but for normal driving its nice :)
@@nazimelon6653 nope.
nice vid thanks bro, I was looking for it
Best gearbox ever!!!!! If it works lol
No 😂😂😂😂

When i kick down in "D" my rev counter jumps above 5000/min. Everything original, 1.8 tfsi 160 hp 2010. Your starts at about 3000/min
Yes. Diesel vs Petrol. Diesel’s make max torque low down.
@@tzeimet they are both petrol you donkey
@@tzeimet No? The car in the video is a petrol car.
Is MPG the same on both for normal driving? Does simulation gears S mode use more fuel? I have 2.7tdi Multitronic
He seems to have flatted out on this one. Both are about 40.3L/100km at 90kph onwards.
But I'm pretty sure Drive is more economic.
40Liters per 100km????@@RD-ht6go
how can someone like it...
1.8t…. How much oil consumption 😂
Keep dreaming, you confused with 2.0T under 2012
TEMP: -10.5 lol
End of summer :)
