This video reveals a lot of nuances of Mr. Norman’s technique. Along with Todd and Kirk you will eventually unlock your version. I am getting real close. Laser beams! Nothing like the feeling of greatness!!
It works if you work it just like any other swing but with Moe's way the feeling of greatness comes quicker and lasts a lot longer. Good thing is that there are tons of vids out on his swing and each person will have variations of it. No one will ever be able to replicate his exactly. Learn it and wow your friends.
I can answer that. I worked in Kitchener with one of Moe's best friends (Butch.) he and Moe golfed Westmount early Wednesday mornings. Moe would play 2 balls. Butch said Moe's 2nd ball, more often then not would follow the same line in the dew as the first. And for fun he would play to hit the flag stick on his approach shots.
The real secret and his genius was his absolute self believe and confidence. So many golfers I see are prepared for a bad shot before they even hit it. If you can visualize the shot at hand, have %100 believe in yourself and know your going to hit it on the button every time, you will more times than not. Prepare and visualize success rather than preparing and visualizing the worst case scenario. That added with lots of practice is the winning formula, it’s not some secret swing position.
Moe is incredible he's not only straight he's extremely long! Even at this age he can drive 300 yards and all the balls are within 10 feet of each other!
Look up his story. Lee T. thinks he would have won them all, lol. His oddities caused some friction, which seemingly was not something he wanted to or could deal with mentally and he returned to Canada and won everything here. It's not that simple, but that's the idea.
Moe Norman is that guy you marvel at, but come away discouraged, rather than encouraged because there's no possible way you could ever do that. He's that kid at the fishing pier landing huge fish after huge fish with a cane pole and some night crawlers, and your $2000 worth of gear and fancy lures is doing nothing for you. He's Yogi Berra with a golf club...how can a guy with that persona and appearance do that...lol?
It's one big compensation because of his wide stance the ball is placed too far forward he slides into impact to make up the distance he places the club from the ball. It's one big guess but it works for him PERIOD.
You need to look up his story. He was autistic. He could tell you exactly how many balls that he'd hit in his life at any give moment. He visualized every aspect of the swing in his mind. He missed 1 fairway in 7 years.
Moe at 65 years old … unbelievable athlete so underrated…
The one and only Moe Norman . My golf hero .

You get it, mydog.
Thank you for sharing this marble.
Sounds so solid every time, I don't come here to hit a tee I am here to hit a golf ball.. love it
Moe is one of the best Teachers of golf ever!!
Thank you this is some rare video of a true master

It's totally unnatural the only thing that's natural is the audience as they all clap their hands naturally to watch a BS unnatural swing.
Great to find a new Moe video I haven't seen before. Thanks for uploading
glad you're enjoying them.
I had a dream i was Moe once and I still couldn't hit it as good as him.
Thank you for sharing this wonderful video

We would never see this golf hero
"Purity of technique, the feeling of greatness"
Happy 7th birthday, tee!
What must a round of golf be like whilst nailing it every time.
Well done moe you done it all your own way brilliant

4:42 Moe's got the women moaning he hits it so good LMAO
Best ball striker in the world.
The most unique guy ever to play golf.
"I come to hit balls, not tee's. This tee is 7 years old!" 😂😅
Thank you for posting this
the mind works in pictures not in words.
Just imaging watching Moe today on tv if he was still around with shot tracer! It would be frightening
Comming soon!
It would be the same every-time

Love it. Totally agree. I was lucky to see him in person.
Well said !
4:42 you know it’s a good swing when they make that sound
when grandma moans, you know its good
😂
“Grandma moans” Lololololololololol
@4:37 "Now you want to see it go 400 yards." Then he hits it and it's "Oh my God!" 65 years old. 5' 7"
Love his humorous dialogue
Short back swing.
Dude was a savant.
He is the Ronco of golf. Like an infomercial
I think in words not in pictures, but I still think I can do this.
3:27 重要な所。フェースは開いているが体は沈み込んでいる。
Why isn't there a screen shot of moe never showing where the ball lands
There are many…with shot tracers too
Moe is incredible he's not only straight he's extremely long! Even at this age he can drive 300 yards and all the balls are within 10 feet of each other!
Inside~inside
Great ball striker but I would like to see how we handled his short game, How was his distance control with approach shots
Moe’s short game was sensational…and there are videos of that with no editing. Unbelievable. He was brilliant.
Genius
Why hasn’t a movie been made about Moe? What a story
Been wondering that for years
Because he's not American
Canadian Golf Association dragging there feet again
He’s Canadian ..
Wish they had more vids of the ball flight
Any videos like this where he hits irons..
yes
If the Country Club and PGA snobs hadn't shunned Moe no telling how dominant he would have been
How many majors did he win though?
Dumbest comment we will read today. Too shallow to garner attention...but i bit....took the bait.

Wow
Impressive
Where was this in Florida ?
flagler beach ocean palm cc craig shankland hof teacher owned club
Purity in motion.
4:40 is something I’ve heard before but, in a different context.
Weird no footage of Moe down the line.
I doubt the cameras had good enough resolution to pick up the ball flight down the line back then
Well we know they were all straight
There are plenty of DTL videos of Moe on RUclips…look under Graves Golf with Todd.
A true golf savant.
Lag lag lag, as much and late as it can be!
Absolutely!!
When you grew up as a kid swinging that way. It’s EZ. IMO. The game is easier the earlier you start.
He taught himself

Trust me! There is no guess in that move, just pure geometry! Do the math!
