    sir, in 58^2, why second part should have 2 digits(since base no. 50 has only one zero)

    • @Meritshine
      @Meritshine  7 лет назад +2

      in a way you are right Bala, but here the base is 100/2 = 50 so we half the first part. If we would have taken only one zero then we would have to multiply first part by 5 as the base then would have been 10*5.

    when considering squaring 421, in the video, the working base was 400. why not 500 and work considering a difference of 79 ? Is it because 79 is greater than 21 ?

    sir, suppose if i want to find square of 264, i have to find square of 36 also, then its time consuming. is there any other method to find square of 264 quickly?

    • @Meritshine
      @Meritshine  7 лет назад +2

      Hmm, calculate 265 square and subtract ( 265^2- 264^2) from it.
      26*27/25 -(265+264)
      70225 - 529
      69696

    In 1:42 minute of video he say that we have to add extra zero in front of 9, which is not in front that is in the back of 9 so you have to correct it for the students

    • @NavdeepSingh-wj6bp
      @NavdeepSingh-wj6bp 7 лет назад +1

      i gotit
      67 -100= -33
      67 + (-33) = 34 | (33)^2 => 1089 as our base is 100 so 10 going to add in 34 and that would become 44 and our answer would be 4489 .. Right?

    sir how can we find square of 17

    • @Meritshine
      @Meritshine  7 лет назад +4

      In many ways:
      No1. Easiest and most recommended, learn the squares till 30.
      No2. Multiply 17*17 using 10 as base, hope you have watched our videos on vedic maths.
      Number Base Difference
      17 10 7
      17 10 7
      ---------------------------------
      1st part | 2nd part
      17+7 | 7*7
      24 | 49
      24+4| 9
      289
      No3. Try yourself with base 20.
