I deleted a comment that I didn’t really like this song because no song ever did grow this much on me. Unexpectedly and unintentionally just music and style became so catchy. On Spotify it’s so easy to catch up with lyrics as seems Estonian can read the same as written. Got this on my top 10 now after a few weeks. ❤
Kudos for decidedly writing about your change in opinion, it's rare to read a comment like that on any subject! This is my first ESC season that I've started paying attention to songs in January already (I traditionally began to care about ESC sometime in April), and I find it interesting to observe myself get bored of songs I'd initially liked and start to hum songs I'd initially disliked. Yep, I'm Czech, learning Estonian and it really has very simple pronunciation rules. They only have this weird rule of "three consonant lengths". D, B, G and other resonant consonants are "very short" and can be pronounced as D, B, G or T, P, K (yep, they don't hear the difference) and your tongue pronounces them very briefly. Then they have T, P, K etc. - "short" consonants when your tongue stays on them a bit longer. And then they have TT, PP, KK - "long" consonants that your tongue really lingers on. Other than that, it's very simple, a hundred times simpler than English 🙂
