See most of you guys don’t know what was going on, tua got injured last year because of intentional foul plays meant to take him out. In the mizzu game players were gator rolling his ankles, and hitting his knee with their helmets, same with the LSU game, the lot were intentionally hitting the knee that had the brace to take him out, then in the miss st game the very next week same thing. Just go back and watch the whole game and y’all will see what I’m talking about. This year with miss st was on saban because he let him get back in when they were up 35-0. If he see how they tackled him on that play you can see they that they meant to take him out, you all must not know how hard and how much force it takes to dislocate someone’s hip, especially tua, he isn’t small he’s over 6 ft 200 lbs. I’m glad tua let Alabama so he can heal and take next year and work on a few things. LSU had a great year but they did play one of the worst Alabama defenses and a Clemson defense that lost a lot of talent from defense last year, so those two teams weren’t the same, but with that said I think joe short term will be better to take than tua because he’s had 5 years to Tua’s 3, and he’s been in a great pro style offense this year to where his development was accelerated and I think it will translate to the nfl, for the most part. Long term I’m taking tua because once he gets his post snap reading people are going to see that tua is a generational talent, because he’s already great but tua’s development was stymied because he didn’t have a nfl caliber OC last year, and no disrespect to locksley but he’s no joe Brady, he in many ways put tua on a crutch with the heavy rpo, instead of incorporating pro style multi progression reads, and that’s what Clemson took advantage of last year, tua was so used to the one read rpo where he got fooled early because Clemson would disguise packages. People thought Clemson was going to do to LSU what they did to Alabama but I knew for months that they wouldn’t because LSU had joe burrow prepared with post snap reading, so Clemson’s disguise was not going to fool burrow because he just could go through his reads, and they just lost way too much on defense to be the same. Just look at joe burrow season last year and compare it to this year, the development he made was largely thanks to the pro style system they attained and joe did a really good job of absorbing it, he has high football iq. Now as far as Trevor Lawrence, I definitely don’t buy him as a 1st overall pick, they’re hyping him up too much, all for beating the worst Alabama defenses in years with 50 50 balls, that game didn’t impress me at all. I saw Trevor looking at one side of the field too much, and he can be very inaccurate many times, but his receivers adjust very well to the ball, so there’s a lot he has to work on, but I do think once he has enough experience and develops more he will be pretty good in the next level, but he would have to good to the right team. I feel sorry for joe burrow because the bengals are historically cheap, they don’t pay for all that they need to, and joe burrow needs to go to a team that is willing to pay to put a good o line around him and receivers. Good example of a transcendent quarterback going to a team that did not have putting a complete set around their quarterback is the colts, luck would’ve had a great career but it was cut short because he was taking too much punishment and remained injured every year, I hope joe and tua go to a team that will take care of them by providing them with everything they need and they both will shine.
I’d take Joe Burrow every time. Guy is just a winner. He did it ALL SEASON LONG!!! That’s no fluke or luck. He never played a bad game this season and did it against great competition.
Both of their success will largely depend on what team and coach they play with in the NFL. Burrow or Tua are not enough to turn around Cincinnati alone. However if either Burrow or Tua go to let's say New England then they both could have success fairly quickly.
Seriously though lmao. Oh my goodness. Literally plenty of qbs have had seasons that are comparable to Burrows. Consider this Tim Tebow has had a better college career then Burrow. Tebow had 2 massive seasons. Matt Leinert and Reggie Bush had 2 massive seasons. Anyhow Burrow doesn't have ideal arm strength. That's the only knock is his arm strength isn't top level but it's middle of the pack arm strength.
Given the extent of his horrific injury, I would never even consider drafting Tua. Joe Burrow will be Payton Manning 2.0 in the NFL. Mark my words people.
Relentless He did well, but let’s give the big credit to the person who seriously deserves it, Joe Brady. It’s not a coincidence that Burrow did nothing, even with LSU last year, but miraculously had the statistically best season ever this past season with Brady calling the plays. Hey Chris, your right that Burrow is like Brady. Now picture an athletic Tom Brady. That's what he is my guy.Shout out to Louisiana I'mma New Orleans Boi.....Geaux Tigers
As far as his on field performance Joe Burrow reminds me a lot of a super charged Chad Pennington or a Tom Brady that can actually run. Tua will find a place but not ahead of Burrow, no way.
Honestly, I would be cool with somebody else going before Burrow. I'd like to see him either fall to the Saints or the Saints somehow move up to get him. I don't see that happening, but a Saints fan can hope. All 3 Saints QBs are free agents, still don't know if Brees will retire, Teddy may get signed by another team and same for Taysom Hill, so we're in QB limbo. Burrow would be a great successor to Brees and he pretty much played in a Saints style offense, but the Saints would have to give up an arm, a leg and their first born child to get him. It could be good for him to go back to Ohio, his home state, but personally, I'd like to see him with the Saints. 🤷🏾♀️⚜⚜
I'm a sooner fan so I have watched six of our quarterbacks either finished second for the Heisman Or Win It. Jason White Sam Bradford Baker Mayfield and Kyler Murray were all Heisman winners three of them we're number one overall draft picks. But I have to admit Joe burrow is just as good or better than all of em. He does remind me of a better version of Baker Mayfield. I don't think he was just a product of the system because I've watched him make many tight window throws. yes his numbers were ridiculous because he played in a great system. But his pocket awareness is the best I've ever seen coming out of college. he doesn't have the absolute best arm I've ever seen but he has a really good arm. He also has the intangibles and the toughness. I think he is a slam-dunk number one draft pick and I also think he won't be a bust
I notice that the nfl seems to use Baker as a synonym for competitive. He's not even close to that, its his brand but you dont see him like youve seen Romo, elway, even allen
😂🤣! Bro he finished 15-0 and had the MOST td passes of ALL TIME this year. Idc if Tua finished the year he wouldn’t have won over Burrow. I’m a Gator fan so I’m looking at it like it is and that’s straight facts. Quit watching sports my slow friend 👌🏻
The Broussard brothers, Joseph and Alexandre lead the first group of Cajuns to Louisiana In 1764. Plus all the Broussards are descended from these first Broussard brothers.
Chris Broussard: Baker Mayfield is a terrible comparison... Chris Broussard: Proceeds to make a terrible comparison.... Guys until hes proven Joe Burrow is more Ryan Leaf.....
Charlie Brown Ryan Leaf was a crazy talent coming out. For him it was all mental, which Leaf has now admitted. So a young Ryan Leaf with a good head and motivation to work his ass off is a crazy good QB.
Proper NFL comparison for Burrow is Desean Watson.. Not the strongest arm(but pretty strong).. Decent athleticsm. Very good deep ball accuracy.. Excellent leadership skills. Never quit attitude. Burrow is nothing like Baker Mayfield..
Bro I'm Texans fan big Watson fan love lsu as well. Your comparison sounds crazy but it's spot on in so many ways when you think about it. They really are similar. Like of course Watson a little better athlete but burrow decent athlete with a little better feel for pocket.
that's crazy they forgot about you Cam Newton had and how he did that as a first-year starter versus somebody who's been LSU for the past three years and laid duds year after year
Bama and Clemson had comparable players and LSU actually developed their best players Joe,Clyde, and Ja’marr where not highly touted players before this year meanwhile Clemson and Bama always get those top already developed players
He had the two best WR in college football AND a 1400 yard rusher. I say he has all the marks of a tremendous bust in the League... But time will tell.
I don’t see a Cincy passing on him. Joe Burrow got better as the year went on and played the biggest in the biggest moments. Yes! He only had one great year, but I would want to see improvement. The goal is that a player comes in the NFL and gets better each year. Tua played with amazing receivers and o line just like Joe. Tua gets compared to Russell Wilson, but Wilson hasn’t been hurt. Wentz has a stronger arm and better QB but not being available hurts his team. Joe shows good signs of stepping up in the pocket and making throws even though he’s about to get slammed. I like the Brady comparison in terms of style.
sports media doing their level best to ensure Tua gets drafted in the first round. Tua had a serious hip injury. any team drafting him in the first round is taking a huge risk.

@Daniel Scott that's completely false, i don't care about his weight, I'm talking about his muscle mass compared to fat and i played college football in the big ten and i never heard anything about those stats effecting your ankles bro? Lol
I wonder how all this hype over Burrow will look over the next two years. Especially if he doesn't largely improve the Bengals or take them on a playoffs run by then with all the pressure of having the "best" college QB season ever coming straight into the NFL.
@@Beckyvee Honestly don't think most expected him to go to the playoffs in year 2, no less get THAT close to winning a Super Bowl! I'm happy for the Bengals that they got their guy. But a lot of that also has to do with their great signings on the defensive end and drafting an elite WR straight out the draft, have to give kudos to the whole team. 🤝
Feel bad for Tua he was going to be the number one pick but it might turn out better for Tua no Bengals and if drafted by a team with a QB you could give him a year or two until fully healthy. Joe definitely deserves being the number one pick I just feel bad cause he'll find out real quick the Bengals are not in Louisiana
What kind of a stupid ass question is this? Of course burrow is the #1 pick, it's not even close, even if tua was healthy. Dude just had 60 TDs and like 74% completion, those stats are insane.
Burrow is a lock at 1 unless something drastic like and injury or off the field issue that causes concern. Tua pending on these next 2 months could be drafted at 5 by the dolphins if everything goes right and he looks good. If everything goes wrong he might fall out of the first round all together. Just not enough intel to make an accurate prediction on Tua yet.
I think I'd compare Burrow more to Andrew Luck. Tall, has some running ability, but isn't a true runner, accurate, good decision-maker, an arm that is strong enough but isn't a bazooka. Granted Luck had a much longer resume' coming out of college. It shouldn't scare teams away that Burrow doesn't have a rocket arm. Montana, Brady, Manning, and Brees didn't either. As long as it's strong enough to attack the defense at all 3 levels, there shouldn't be any reason to worry.
How many top ten teams has Tua beat? LSU beat 7 top ten teams (when they played) this season. They beat the top 4 pre season teams. Clemson, Georgia, ‘Bama, and Oklahoma were the top 4 pre season teams, and Joe Burrow put a whoopin on every one of them.
That's more so the team and their schedule than the individual qbs... guarentee tua woulda put the same stats Joe did if he were at lsu. Bamas defense was garbage and that was their downfall... don't put it all on tua

These 2 guys are hilarious
Hey Chris, your right that Burrow is like Brady. Now picture an athletic Tom Brady. That's what he is my guy.Shout out to Louisiana I'mma New Orleans Boi.....Geaux Tigers
As far as his on field performance Joe Burrow reminds me a lot of a super charged Chad Pennington or a Tom Brady that can actually run. Tua will find a place but not ahead of Burrow, no way.
Yes
If tua wasn’t injured LSU would’ve lost to bama and it wouldn’t even be an argument lol
IF IF IF alabama was a better team then.... IF lsu would have scored even more then they would have won by even more..... blah blah blah
Awww excuses
Hes been in college for 5 years. And was a bum till last year
He won’t be a bust but if he spends his whole career with the bengals I don’t think he’ll be a Super Bowl quarterback
@@edwardlynch6550 the only bum here us you
Fred Wright he’s a 1 yr wonder.
I notice that the nfl seems to use Baker as a synonym for competitive. He's not even close to that, its his brand but you dont see him like youve seen Romo, elway, even allen
Tua literally had 33 Tds 0 ints in half a season before he got injured. I like Joe but the only reason he won that heisman was b/c Tua went down.
Yeah because they were playing GREAT teams in the beginning of the season 🚮🔥🚮 nice reach tho
Wrong lol. Burrow still would have won it homie. LSU's schedule was crazy.
Whaaaat? Well, true i guess. Fiction can be fun.😊
Fake news
Out the gate yes!...he the kawhi Leonard of football, the Terminator!
You mean lebron! Kawhi is injury prone and soft! Lebron is indestructible!
@@DeeboGreen only time lebron becomes soft when he faces kawhi. L3-6 james
Jatin Sharma lol
The Broussard brothers, Joseph and Alexandre lead the first group of Cajuns to Louisiana In 1764. Plus all the Broussards are descended from these first Broussard brothers.
Chris says he's from ONE place other than Cleveland.
Bumhead: cHrIs iS fRoM eVeRyWhErE.
Rob, take it easy on the interruptions bro.
You're always on point, but let Chrissy get a word in fam.
I cannot WAIT for Sunday, when Jimmy G and the Niners *annihilate* Aaron Rodgers!
TheUnatuber i cant wait either. We need this SB.
T K Nani?!
Proper NFL comparison for Burrow is Desean Watson.. Not the strongest arm(but pretty strong).. Decent athleticsm. Very good deep ball accuracy.. Excellent leadership skills. Never quit attitude. Burrow is nothing like Baker Mayfield..
I see more like a Jimmy Garopolo comparison , although Deshaun Watson isn't a bad comp
Bro I'm Texans fan big Watson fan love lsu as well. Your comparison sounds crazy but it's spot on in so many ways when you think about it. They really are similar. Like of course Watson a little better athlete but burrow decent athlete with a little better feel for pocket.
The game slowed down for Burrow and he sped up, too....Best college QB of all time...easily
Dirty rice and a fresca 😂😂😂
🍲🥣
TUA, is a natural, he has been the same QB since he was 10 years old. Joe Burrow had a great start but time will tell.
Hows Baker Mayfield accurate? He throws PLENTY INTS!!!!
Broussard ain’t lying 😂😂😂
that's crazy they forgot about you Cam Newton had and how he did that as a first-year starter versus somebody who's been LSU for the past three years and laid duds year after year
Wat bout LSUs oline Wrs an rbs yall act like he was out there by himself
@David Lomas oh ok so he should go to Cincy an have no problem then right? Bengals to the 🏆
@David Lomas dummy
Bama and Clemson had comparable players and LSU actually developed their best players Joe,Clyde, and Ja’marr where not highly touted players before this year meanwhile Clemson and Bama always get those top already developed players
What's that mean LSU had obj and laundry and fournatte and there QBs wasnt good....it takes a special qb to make it work
He had the two best WR in college football AND a 1400 yard rusher. I say he has all the marks of a tremendous bust in the League... But time will tell.
Would you rather have Joe Borrow or TongaViaMiaBlowa
That ain't it chief
Joe Burrow had the best season statistically, but Cam Newton had the best impact a college QB has ever had.
Why they keep looking up?
sports media doing their level best to ensure Tua gets drafted in the first round. Tua had a serious hip injury. any team drafting him in the first round is taking a huge risk.
If his name's broussard, he's Louisiana enough for me
Next time Chris going to say hes From Antarctica
Tua had a way higher ceiling but also has the most risk.
Shout out to rob whodey!!!!!
Burrow is awesome. Reminds me of Steve Young
Yes he is...tua will never be the same
The champ is here😂👌
He’ll no befor tua got injured he was the leader in stats joe was like ten touchdowns behind him
You know nothing
I can present facts to back what I’m saying
@@godamongstm1653 present them then
Ezekiel Glenn u know nth obviously u havnt been watching college football u just follow joe and hopes on the band wagon any body who follows sports knows tua was the learner in stats befor injury eve the game they faced each other tua out performed joe go look at the stats dude then come back and comment
@@godamongstm1653 oh yeah I dont watch college football. I've just saw about 30 games this year ! Oh by the way I'm not on the band wagon. I am first and for most a college football fan but lsu happens to be my second favorite team. I have liked them for years tua is a great qb but I think joe is better.
Tua is another Carson Wentzs period. Tua will never finish an NFL season, he needs to build more muscle.
@Daniel Scott that's completely false, i don't care about his weight, I'm talking about his muscle mass compared to fat and i played college football in the big ten and i never heard anything about those stats effecting your ankles bro? Lol
@Daniel Scott will see.
I wonder how all this hype over Burrow will look over the next two years. Especially if he doesn't largely improve the Bengals or take them on a playoffs run by then with all the pressure of having the "best" college QB season ever coming straight into the NFL.
Similar to how we view Baker now, probably minus the off-field stuff 😂
Well, he’s done just that, and likely to be doing it again.
Joe Burrow is gonna get drafted to the Bengals...so get over it and accept it.
He will be just fine.
When was the last time a left handed quarterback had a lot of success in the NFL since Steve Young?
Vick but were better suited to other positions
Oh idk, hey lets pick the guy that just had a horrific hip injury, yeah let's do that.
Ya
👍👍
What kind of a stupid ass question is this? Of course burrow is the #1 pick, it's not even close, even if tua was healthy. Dude just had 60 TDs and like 74% completion, those stats are insane.
Broussard doesn’t ever represent the Saints though
I'm sure he will start as soon as they win a Superbowl.
Tua's injuries are a problem, and at his best, He did not have a year anything like Joe. So, Joe would be top of my draft board.
I think that burrow is a more accurate(therefore less turnover prone)James Winston
Why is this even a discussion?
The only reason why people ask this question is because Burrow always looks like he has severe anemia
