      They'd probably talk about Donald Trump, Joe Biden, the LGHDTV community, destiny's political views, Aks political views, Destiny's take on the blk community/hip hop and or the blk Twitch community, Andrew Tate, SNEAKO, Fresh and Fit, the redpill space, dating, the Adam No Jumper situation, Destiny's ban from Twitch etc

    However, he's also a raging drunk and alcohol is sadly his weakness.
    The man puts away Hennessy like it's water and it gets him into shit more often than it should because it EMBOLDENS him.
    That loud crass AK that you see in clips is not his regular persona yet it's the one most people who do not follow are familiar with.

    Honestly this shit with NJ was inevitable…Adam filled the platform with a bunch of close minded people who have no ability to see things from different perspectives. It makes for boring, repetitive content with no substance. Unfortunately he played the “culture hero” part for so long that anything he does that goes against the office opinion he is immediately painted as a racist overlord. To be real, I bet this whole situation played out well if multiple dudes broke contract to leave the platform. Probably saves him some headache

    Bruh these people should know their place, Adam was their boss and these people getting mad because he doesnt like having employees trash talking him behind his back. And the fact he was also their friend makes it even worse, they are trash talking a boss AND a friend.
    Still, adam had way too much employees, the whole thing is a mess

    • @kalrikelari
      @kalrikelari Год назад

      Well actually you’re wrong. They were not employees, they were independent contractors. Adam sent them 1099’s and paid no payroll taxes. So by law he can’t tell them what to do. They can say and do whatever they want, they are their own boss. If the IRS would have seen him referring to his contractors as employees and treating them as employees he would owe a shit load of back taxes.

    California has a very unique climate for a variety of reasons, but the ocean does provide some stability. The reason being is that it takes a lot more energy to change the temperature if it has extra moisture in it. So he’s right, the Ocean is one reason why LA is basically the same weather all year round.

    Ak is smart, he just drinks a lot and says crazy sht on his streams lol. I disagree with a lot of his opinions on society and politics, but he is definitely more intelligent than the average hip hop commentator. He’s correct here though, Adam could’ve handled it differently, sure, but he is making the right business move. He’s pivoting to a more profitable model and expanding his platform. Although a lot of his cohosts don’t like the political stuff, I know a sizeable portion of his viewers do and he’ll bring in a lot of new viewers. To the contrary, he won’t be able to grow much more in the hip hop space because mainstream hip hop has never really respected his platform. The platform got big off of SoundCloud rap and underground rap.
    It would be crazy to see these two interact and have a few conversations. I literally watch Destiny and Ak more than any other channels. Destiny would wash Ak in a debate on anything outside of hip hop though.

    • @deadzoneternity
      @deadzoneternity Год назад

      I think the only way we can see how Adam handled it as a bad way of handling it, is strictly in a personal setting, like generally when handling personal relationships, speaking of someone behind their back seems underhanded.
      This was not a personal decision, this was a business decision. In business decisions, there are always and will always, and should always, have conversations behind the scenes with other business partners about a business decision regarding a co worker or employee. He didn't handle this decision badly by speaking to a co host about a business decision about conflict with that person, the co host was wrong to be providing that conflict and discussion to those that are not relevant or necessary to be involved.
      The problem with these podcasts and content creator businesses, is that they meld together business and friendship, and so you can't have personal conflict without bringing it into business, and you can't have business conflict without it getting personal.

    Hip hop is not dead, people literally say that about rap every five years, hip hop’s level of popularity always fluctuates. That SoundCloud scene is definitely dead though lol, has been for years.
    And Adam invited the gang element into his platform because thought it was interesting. They didn’t force themselves on him. If you start gallivanting with gang members, in gangland, you’re going to start getting pressed by gangsters.
