Good afternoon, Tatyana! First off I have to tell you that you are very good at explanation. Just short and to the point. Subjunctive Mood is many learners ' Achilles heel and it sometimes causes confusion but you have cleared that confusion and let me translate those sentences you gave at the end of your lesson: I am so surprised that she write you such kind of letters. He insists that we make a report by Sunday. It is crucial that we undergo a medical inspection. She spoke as if nothing had happened. I would rather we stay here for a couple of days.
@@tkomarda1 Thanks for the message! I have something to ask you if you don't mind: How to learn to speak English in an environment where English is not spoken at all outside? We all can do better in the classroom I mean English speaking but when we are out of the classroom and start speaking it, we usually get stuck, embarrassed and feel discomfort. Any tips on that?
Yes, first of all, listen to English videos, podcasts etc, so that you feel the language and passively accumulate new words, intonation, word combinations and so on. As for speaking, I think the best option is to find somebody you can change languages with, say, Russian to English. That will be free and give you a chance to speak with a native speaker. For that you should find some groups of Russian learners and make a post there. That's what I do with my other languages.
Спасибо за подробный разбор. Выполняла упражнение в из синего Мерфи и там было предложение- Lauren goes out every night. Her mother would rather she (stay, stayed) home more. Я выбрала вариант stayed, а в ответах stay. Хотя по правилу должен быть Past. Может я неправа?
@@tkomarda1 знаете, я только сегодня обратила внимание, что на некоторых учебниках пишут Grammar in use intermediat, а на некоторых English grammar in use.
He behaved as if he wanted to steal something. Но тогда получается subjunctive и + та ситуация в которую я как бы не верила
Да, действительно, когда мы говорим о прошлом, то эти две ситуации неразличимы. В настоящем мы можем различить их с помощь. Subjunctive mood и Present Simple. You treat me as if I wanted to steal something - но я не собираюсь ничего красть. He looks as if he wants .to steal ... - я подозреваю его. А в прошлом оба оттенка сливаются.
8:48 - (Небольшая ошибочка). She looked as if // as though we had never seen each other. → Здесь должно быть так. AT - лишнее, либо надо добавить ME (взглянула на меня), но дальше сказано - "выглядела". И в конце - опечатка: 13:09 Вместо of → if.
Перевод:1) I'm surprised she writes you such letters. 2) He insists we make a report until weekend. 3) It's necessary you receive a medical examination. 4) She spoke as though nothing have happened. 5) I prefer we stay here for another couple of days.Перевод:1) It's vital that he stamp his spirit all over the saga. 2) The blacksmith orders a blade be thin, narrow and flexible enough to cut and thrust well. 3) It's crucial a pommel be quite heavy, otherwise it would not create a good weight distribution in a sword. 4) He is shocked that his king undergoes such violent tribulations. 5) They looked at each other as though they did not have an accelerator to experiment.
Ну кроме Subjunctive mood такая структура нигде не используется. После глагола demand ставится союз "чтобы", а не "что" и после него не может быть просто Present Simple, поэтому то что вы здесь видите - это не Present Simple, а именно Subjunctive mood (сравните в русском, что она прехала)

Практически все правильно. Кроме I wish - там немного другая история. Там может быть три варианта грамматики, в зависимости от смысла, но такого варианта как Вы написали - нет. А вот I wish we stayed there longer - возможно.
