Can't say I'm surprised Jake identifies with Venus. They're playing similar games, except that Venus also has the Abi-Maria "rub people the wrong way" thing going on as well.

You've talked about it being hard to come back when you're behind, and maybe making points after the merge worth double.
Instead, I have a different idea. Just make each week give the same amount of points. Instead of 1-18 first week and 1-17 week 2, make it 1-18 week 1 and 2-18 week 2.
So last week for episode several it would be 7 for who is most likely to stay and still 18 for most likely to go.
That makes it that it's easier to come back.
This is a good system.

I nailed it last episode. This episode is gonna be VERY hard. Mainly because it all depends on how the trios shake out and which becomes a duo. I'm not at all confident about my placements.
Rankings:

Venus: I think she makes final tribal, that plus the fact that she's on the outs during a vote where people will be taking shots at other clusters makes her the safest for me.
Hunter/Tiffany: They both have idols and solid enough relationships atm that I think they'll both know to play them if they're in danger this week. Hunter is higher because I think he has a better chance at winning immunity.
Maria/Charlie: I think that the initial plan will be to keep the +1 alliance. If that's the case, I can easily see Charlie being looped in. Maria is also less likely imo to be considered a threat. Should Charlie be the target I'm confident these 2 can turn it around for this vote.
Kenzie/Liz/Ben: These 3 are on the outs the +1 alliance and unlikely to join. About the only way I see Kenzie and Liz joining is if both do. Of these 3 I think that Kenzie and Liz are currently safest. Kenzie due to her Yanu connections, Q being a bigger Yanu threat and people not recognizing how threatening she is atm. Liz I think is the next safest just because of who she's aligned with. I also can't see anyone choosing to target her right now.
Ben is probably the most in trouble. Especially if Charlie joins the +1s. If that happens the others likely try and weaken Siga further since Nami is STILL splintered.
Q/Tevin: These 2 are so low because I think they either are already setting themselves up to be booted or will this episode. Q is obvious he's getting on peoples nerves with his mafia boss routine, however I think he's safe for at least one more vote. I peg Q as an episode 9 or 10 boot, especially if one of the Yanu girls win. Tevin just got rid of a very loyal number. He might not have known it but Soda wasn't betraying him for a while. Worse he didn't get credit for it AND really wants that credit. I expect a big ole argument this episode in which he Emilys himself. You do not want to get people thinking of you as a threat.
While my current pick is Ben as the next boot, anyone from Kenzie down is likely I feel.
Current winner picks: Hunter, Charlie and Tiffany. Hunter at the top because he got his backstory package in the premerge. Having your backstory shown is a requirement in the new era.

My third perfect week last week even picking who wouldn't make the jury. I got several points times 10! Cowabunga!!
I did not base my picks just on tribes but looked at the plus one alliance and who will go if they stick together and who will if they don't. And who will go if an idol is played correctly. Maria and Charlie are in the middle of this tribe determining if they will go with the rest of the six or not. Since Q talks about Charlie like he is an idiot, I think the plus one alliance will collapse, but if it sticks together, Venus probably goes because then the tribes are all equal (no one loses their second plus one).

6.Liz (not in the 6, seems from previews like she wants to go rogue, low edit)

9. Venus (not in an alliance and keeps the power balance in the plus one alliance. If it sticks together, Venus is the target because she has no alliance)
10. Coach the mob boss Q (pissed off Charlie, pissed off Tiffany and Kenzie, feels like he has all the power, and is all in on the plus one alliance. Problem is, Tiff doesn't want to drop Kenzie, Tevin and Hunter probably don't want to drop Liz I think, Charlie and Maria would want to keep Ben. Also last episode, Q was absolutely the cocky over the top villain. Last time, Charlie got his way in convincing Maria to keep Ben. I think that happens again.)
Love this! I should hop on these message boards... I disagree with Austin; I think Siga is in the most danger. I think the players are seeing a 3/3/3 split + Venus on the outside, not 3/3/4, so it's not so clear that a Nami needs to go home next. Plus, the journey alliance brought Nami and Yahnu together in a way that excludes Siga. PLUS Siga is the only trio without an idol. I think Ben is most likely to go home-- I see Q trying to get something going against Kenzie (that compliment at tribal was a setup!), but Tiffany convinces him it's not time to cut her yet and better to get rid of her new friend, Ben, who Q wanted to send home this week. I can definitely see a move being made against Hunter, but he's got so many allies that it will be hard to gain a majority he doesn't find out about. With an idol play, they could target a "big fish" like Maria or Charlie (making them this season's Kellie). I think Siga's best move is to target either Tevin or Q. Looks like a crazy tribal so I’m moving lots of big threats down on my list! Hardest week for sure, I could see anything happening. I loved what Drew said about Tevin being the “Kellie” of the season who gets taken out too soon, so that definitely makes me think his Soda vote could come back to bite him.

I think that for as long as Q is in the game, Tiff and Kenzie are safe cuz I see Q going first cuz multiple people have said they want him out down the road. Hunter has the idol so he's probably safe and who's targeting Liz at this point. The Sigas seem to be in a rough spot but now that they have equal numbers with Yanu their threat level with start to diminish, and if they can link up with Tiff and Kenzie they could be in a good spot. Tevin and Venus are in a weird spot now where they're likely about to end up fighting over who's move it was to vote out Soda, and I could easily see either of them going cuz of this, a la Emily in 45 with the Bruce vote.
