I think to make a list of Best Ballet Dancers you really need to know classical Ballet, history of art and simply fpgood taste:)
And, where are Baryshnikov, Liepa, Vasiliev and many more who really have The standards of classical male beauty, strength, power and elegance!?

People, wake up! She is listing current active dancers. I think Sergei is overrated. While Ivan is flashy and superficial, for some reason I adore him. I have seen him dance live on two occasions and it was like being at a rock concert. Ivan always dances, well, Ivan. Baryshnikov is hands down the best ever male ballet artistic dancer.

Nikolai Tsiskaridze was the most exuberant and perhaps the most technical of all in the history of ballet. But his femininity affected his interpretations a little (a lot rsss), but for me he is the best for the whole.

I live in a remote area, so I do not get a chance anymore (as when I used to live in Montréal) to see live ballet and modern dance. That makes me all the hungrier to discover more about dance and dancers. Some of these dancers are familiar to me, others less so or not at all. It is a joy to discover any of these find male dancers!

I suppose that the male dancers are good at what they do, however, they are fodder on the stage while the Ballerinas make their necessary adjustments for completing the current display of the total ballet! After all, we can say that in a thousand years, even robots will never replace the male species in lifting, and so smoothly setting down, the girls as if the floor was raised to meet their feet! Congratulations to all the dancers as it completes the image of beautiful, classical ballet!

Baryshnikov imo remains still the best.
It is not only his dancing skills, maybe today dancers can do more than he did 30 years ago..it is his absolutely magnetic presence.
Baryshnikov did not only danced he WAS the dance,he was living it..
      Misha was a genius dancer,elegant,crisp,masculine,charismatic.
His dancing skills ,but also his strong ,cultivated, openminded, personality his intelligence, made his presence as a dancer absolutely captivating.
All this is of course is my opinion. Daniil Simkin is actually very good,i like him when he dances" les bourgeois" de Jacques Brel
