Tbh i never understood why rachel was that angry. Ik she wanted to be a lawyer, but she just impersonated a person, it does not mean that the same can be said about rachel as a person
you know if you offered Mike 100 chances to re-do his examination of Rachel on the stand, he'd let her off every single time. that decision seems to have worked out well for him.
The interesting thing about this show is that it makes us, the audience, sometimes want Mike to be more ruthless. I remember watching this scene hoping that maybe he would break Rachel, just to show that he was a worthy addition to the firm. But, you also immediately understand when Mike makes the decision not to that we only are rooting for his success because he's not some heartless attorney ready to hurt anyone to get his win.
You see that last look on Harvey's face, he knows Mike is right. For me a psychology student, this is a prime case showing that we can't truly separate ourselves of our true emotions. Our Person must influence our decisions. Always be true to yourself no matter the odds!
But you can push that person down, you can lie for the sake of the situation - actors do it all the time. That's why we believe them, they do it so well that we WANT to believe them. Rachel wasn't able to lie for a moment once she got angry, it had to be about her, not about the character she was supposed to play, and that's why Mike lost. You can't completely deny who you are, but you can play a role. Everyone except Rachel.
So many underline things playing out. You can see prior to Mike's arrival it was very "tough love" "cutthroat" environment. Mike being there made everyone human again. Jessica Louis Donna Rachel Harvey They all know his brain but they saw his heart this episode.
Jenny was the best girl. Though I understand why they forced Michael and Rachel together as its much easier writing at least until she had to retire to become a princess 😂
I have to say, I think the end of the mock trial was written badly. It was not about "breaking her" further, she already was ("I can't cut it") which breaks her narrative wide open. Not a lot of pressuring required, but rather using those same words again. He won, or at least would have soon. Don't know what's so tough about asking uncomfortable questions, they don't have to be personal (as to Rachel not the person she is immitating)
The character Rachel was playing basically matched her own life at that point, 5 years stuck in the paralegal position with no real hope for upward mobility because she's scared to take the LSATs. That's why it was personal for her
I think at that point everyone knew Mike was trying to connect her character in the trial to how she isn’t able to get into law school so Mike just wanted to stop her embarrassment all together and stopped questioning her
Normally for the show, Mike would be defending the person being wrongfully terminated instead of defending the boss doing the sueing You could say it’s intentionally written that he should end up losing just from that
why do people like jenny i'll never understand this she let travis run to jessica to expose mike, which could have landed him in priosn, thus destroying his life
you could look even louis dissapointed of how mike is just a hald step away to win but instead going soft on the withness even though he would want to see mike getting destroyed and winning the bet
Fine, I’ll rewatch Suits again…
Settling for prime time content, respect
You won't be disappointed
Yes, its ok it will be my 7th time
Every time I see this channel post I instantly start rewatching suits
only way to understand the difference in how a human being works the most of all his
Even Jessica cracking a smile for just one second really says how she respected Mike's strategy

@@musicallytalented16 Jenny let her ex rat Mike out and potentially land him in prison, doesn't sound like a great endgame lol

Facts
This is the one show I love watching despite it telling me every episode that Harold is the only character I can relate to.
🤣😂 same here
😂
😂😂😂😂
3:56 would you like to approach the bench and find out how serious I am?
[Mike] hand out like .... GO AHEAD. FAAFO 😂😂😂😂
I have to admit, you got me. How can one not rewatch this series when you post great clips like this? You’re holding us all emotionally hostage 😅
Jessica and Harvey were right. Mike should have proceeded and ended up with Jenny.
Literally all tv shows do the same thing, while the guy seems better off with one girl, the writers hate that
Tbh i never understood why rachel was that angry. Ik she wanted to be a lawyer, but she just impersonated a person, it does not mean that the same can be said about rachel as a person

mike ross cross examination on Rachel is literally Harvey with his deliveries and playing the women not the case

Guess we are watching 9 seasons of suits for the 5th time
Finally, every time to watch this i have to watch the whole episode!!
Mike is our Cole, realised it isn't worth it when they have so much admiration for the other side
So many underline things playing out. You can see prior to Mike's arrival it was very "tough love" "cutthroat" environment. Mike being there made everyone human again.
Jessica
Louis
Donna
Rachel
Harvey
They all know his brain but they saw his heart this episode.

Never even heard of this show before and now I find that I get to binge nine seasons. Nice.
And then she cheated later.
@@SimulationAdminyup its called hypergamy
Who cheated? Jenny?
Rachel did

Don't know what's so tough about asking uncomfortable questions, they don't have to be personal (as to Rachel not the person she is immitating)
The problem was the witness Rachel was playing was in a very similar situation to Rachel herself
The character Rachel was playing basically matched her own life at that point, 5 years stuck in the paralegal position with no real hope for upward mobility because she's scared to take the LSATs. That's why it was personal for her
I think at that point everyone knew Mike was trying to connect her character in the trial to how she isn’t able to get into law school so Mike just wanted to stop her embarrassment all together and stopped questioning her
You also straight up misheard her. She exclaimed "I *can* cut it."
Normally for the show, Mike would be defending the person being wrongfully terminated instead of defending the boss doing the sueing
You could say it’s intentionally written that he should end up losing just from that
Being tough, and smearing their face into the dirt are 2 different levels. Some deserve either, and its up the the lawyer to make that call.
I LOVE SUITS... JUST STARTED MY LAW SCHOOL
I think you'd probably learn more watching suits than in lecture room.😂
I'm already planning my next rewatch
Mike getting backstabbed was kinda expected
-"yor're a winner"
-"well in that case I should take you to a dinner "
Harvey isn’t wrong what he said
Should have put Mike with Jenny and Logan with Rachel.
.
why do people like jenny i'll never understand this
she let travis run to jessica to expose mike, which could have landed him in priosn, thus destroying his life
@@namishjain9238 i like tess and katrina more than jenny
Not sure how American law works, but surely arbitration would order re-instatement? Also, can you sue for unfair dismissal?
you could look even louis dissapointed of how mike is just a hald step away to win but instead going soft on the withness even though he would want to see mike getting destroyed and winning the bet
I wonder- what if Harvey helped Mike like Pearson helped him.
Send Mike to Harvard using his connections, while he worked in the firm on some low post
This is quite satisfying. Ahows kyle as the imature greedy predator. Mock trial he wins but life he looses
Loses. What is it with people confusing "Lose" with "Loose"? They have completely different meanings.
“I call it like I see it” gave me chills bruh
Here we go again. Does everything give you chills, man? Mike says Hi, it gives me chills.

a settlement offer has to be presented to the client..

Mike is the bad guys in suit
Didn’t he represent the defendant. The defendant won, no?
No he counter sued for defamation making Rachel the defendant
Counsel requests to remove himself from the case due to a conflict on interest your honor
Better call Saul....

I royaled my royal when I saw Megan. I royaled all over my royale
