I hate him for what he did and all that but God damn this short cutscene made me realize how badass of a character he'd be to play now I really want him but I am really pumped for luna I hope her playstyle is awesome
Likelyhood of him coming back isn't low. Too much development and missions centered around him, too much alluding, too much shown to make us have our impressions changed - somewhat, too much money spent on a cutscene for him, his "death" of is survivable in this world of Descendants (they aren't Spartans, but they aren't like normal humans either, otherwise their own abilities would be impossible to use for them). Several characters are shown missing limbs, and this seems like the perfect setup toward a "redemption arc." His missing arm and scars could be reminders that'll stick with him forever and he could have a 180 switch in personality now that he was humbled because he thought he was untouchable, literally. It'd be a lot of missed potential to not take this chance, but they could've also just done something really cool and left it there.
@@willzimmerman3299 The narrative also makes sure to remind us after the fact (the cutscene) that Jeremey was under the possession of void energy (which is also what triggered his vision), so it's possible he could use that energy to survive. If Jeremy ends up being a playable Descendant in the future, his Teleport Hability could replace the Grappling Hook. I'd love him as a playable descendant, imagine how many fun ways his teleportation could be designed and used. Like aim, select a spot and move teleportation, that could work as a 2 or 3 ability. Or substitute out the standard dodge rolls for teleportation and as they're a TP not a roll and his body doesnt exist physically during a teleportation, it would work as a passive that makes him untouchable during rolls. Since he is shown bringing guns and knives with him during a teleport, a nice 4 ability would be something like in the game splitgate, create 2 portals, allowing him to see and shoot through one and out the other. Give in a medium length duration like 15 to 20 seconds, let's him create one end on a wall, roof, or any other part of enviroment, create a second one while in cover, and safely shoot targets through it. And as it's his ability, maybe dont let it be used or visible for other players or enemies.
