Nissan Qashqai 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 Loud Idle Engine Noise Rattle

This is a video of our Nissan Qashqai 2016 sat idle on the driveway after a 30 minute journey back from work. All diesels have an expected level of noise when idle, but this is equal to a truck or lorry. Not had this issue for the first 20 months of owning it, but has now come on recently. Would be interested to know the root cause.

My nissan qashqai 2017 petrol 91, make the same noise as yours 😔 i dont know what to do with it anymore

Diesel ,could be the tapets if you had an oil leak which makes the tapets loose lubrication because they get to hot but also miss alignment 80 percent sure

IF the idle rpm are higher than normal the car is autocleaning the FAP.
