I believe that avoiding the case of the parents of the prophet Muhammad (SAW) is best. Or they shall be judged as people of the empty times ( when no massager was sent in that period). How can it be compared to Ibrahim (AS) when Ibrahim's parents deny him. Allah knows best
Whoever died during the fatrah (the interval between the Prophethood of ‘Eesa (peace be upon him) and that of Muhammad (ﷺ) and was the follower of the way of the Arabs at that time, which was idol worship, will also be among the people of Hell. There is no excuse for the call not reaching them, because the call of Ibraaheem and other Prophets (peace be upon them) had reached these people.
@MAli99923 we heard that Allah will not judge any two people that never meet. One will not be responsible for any mistakes that he didn't get or hear the truth about. The parents of the prophet Muhammad (SAW), the prophet's father, didn't know if the wife was pregnant, and the mother died when he couldn't even take care of himself. And we didn't know if they worshiped idols. This is not a new controversy. There were Muslims in West Africa who knew very little about Islam. But they hold fast to those principles. I meet people who walk from Africa to hajj. They took this argument very seriously. Their best answer was, Allah will held us to account for the truth about the Deen we heard. How we accepted it. Allah knows best
Akhee, I love that you have this concern because I believe it comes from your love of the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم but if you only read the authentic hadeeth about this matter then you would see that it’s not a discussion we can have. It’s already been spoken on by the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم and he said his father was in the fire, that he could not make du’aa for his own mother. These are not supposed to be debated after the hadeeth.

@MAli99923 Ibrahim's father heard his son preach him about Allah. He refused to accept. Maybe it's not the same.

Did the parents of prophet muhammad (SAW) heard the prophet preach Islam and deny it as Abu Talib?
No
