The Prayer of the Children (Kurt Bestor)

I made a slideshow; song is Prayer of the Children - Kurt Bestor, performed by my high school men's chamber choir in 2006.
I came back from Europe about a week before the water rose above the previous record level in Iowa City, Iowa.
Obviously the whole every 100 years flood wasn't in the cards.
I was only 4 in the flood of 1993 but living out of state and being out of the country as the water levels rose kept me from realizing the full extent of Midwest damage for a while. Pictures are from the web and news sources, mostly cedar rapids, iowa city, and des moines.
