You need to get you a casting rod for when they are that spooky, cast to em from 15-25 feet. Whole lot of fun that way too, especially on a light or ultralight rod!
Just getting used to it for the most part. Will be using it for tournaments... It does help you see things off to your flanks without panning. In shallow water you see the fish on bottom alot better
