@petermcgrath5215 sometimes this can be because a video is posted for members only first. So they can then comment before anyone else does.
Largest RC hobby plane? yes. Largest RC plane? not even close, even pre ww2 old stock biplanes were covered into RC target drones, and a real 707 was RC converted to crash test a new non exploding fuel. The fuel fueled, but it wasn't non exploding.

Apart from the iconic low frequency "growl" of the trent engines, the ducted fans sound pretty accurate I'd say,
It's so scale accurate the landing gear even does the airbus barking dog noise

Yeah, there's a minimum of the "stair-steppy" throttle curve that's so annoying with smaller EDFs.

Honestly even better than turbojets. The EDFs are closer to a turbofan and the perfect choice in my opinion

That shot of the takeoff streaking past Tyler was superb.
The wings are so big and heavy you can actually see them moving and flexing like a real passenger jet. Wild!

Totally agree with that! Why not let the master Ramy himself do the honor to do the maiden flight. Tyler can play with his toys as much as he wants. But as long as Ramy is ok with that then please go on. I thinks it’s shaggy and that is my honest opinion.
@Gewoon-Roy if it wasn’t for Tyler, that would be none of this on the scale that it is. He has earned the right to do all maiden flights on what he funds, this is too good of a channel for any jealousy, I hate.

If it was that Tyler guy or the Orange King, the fact that Ramy and his team were able to build the world's biggest RC plane proves to me he has the knowledge and the skills to do so. Where he creates it doesn't matter. And again, if he likes building RC planes with funded money, then he definitely has to do it. I just agree with the author of the comment above.
@Gewoon-Roy I don't remember exactly, but I think when he built the Globemaster Tyler insisted on Remy flying it, so he does let him fly.

Needs to change the braking bias toward the front wheels so the rear wheels stop locking up.
I wonder if brake cooling between flights is an issue. Lots of energy dissipated on that first landing!

Smoke from the brakes really does make it
the smoke comes from the tires that had too much braking and stopped rotating. Tire smoke should appear right at touch down, when the wheels don't yet match the landing speed and not later.

Blown away that the take-off characteristics are identical to the real ones.
I’ve yet to see a large RC plane with what appears to be an accurate power to weight ratio, with realistic control surface outputs. They typically take off and maneuver like fighters, including this one. I suppose air density is what it is.
Would've been way better with actual jet engines. They did all this work and this slapped electric fan motors on. Wack

Not really. You can still hear the motors over the fans at times and to be fair rc jets with actual gas fired turbines exist and legitimately sound exactly like the real thing. Not to diminish the mind blowing accomplishment of this build in the slightest, of course.

I would rather a rc park to fly but it’s actually be nice and fully funded. Most rc parks are extremely basic and limited budget.
I can already picture it with video screens for each display, showing videos of the building process, and finally, T.P. performing the maiden flights. I'd pay to see that.

With a Shuttle glider on the back.
Then the livery choice will be a source of dispute withe the current situation. With the shuttle on top, must be the original USSR livery, without, might be the later Ukrainien variant. And in both cases this would be a discord magnet. Not a model for current times.

Or be creative and combine liveries. Transitioning front to back or 50/50 either side. Or toss out the historical bias concerns completely and make a custom livery.

Ramy for your next project the iconic B727 200 In the same scale as the A380, i have a B727 200 in 1:16 scale with gas tubine, it was the first plane i flew in, it was the first plane as an aircraft engineer to work on and it was the last plane i flew in before the airline i worked for retired them in 1997 after 55 yrs service with B727 if you could do the livery in Ansett Australia colours would be a great honour.
The CONCORD would be great with the functional nose tilt when landing
Interesting if the Concord with its vortex lift would be a difficult thing to fly as per the original especially as RC. You put the nose down to climb and up to descend. I remember listening on airband during a Southend-on-Sea airshow in difficult cloudy conditions. The demonstrating Concord said words to the effect of this is not the sort of aircraft to fly in these conditions and departed forthwith.
An-225, B-52, B-2, B-1, CONCORDE and the SR-71 but the last 3 would have to be real turbines
Space shuttle, although I'm not sure if a design is feasible for take off and landing. Unless you build a 747 frame capable of piggy backing the Shuttle, then landing both separately like the real thing.

You know what I'd like to see next.... an entirely new aeroplane concept. Design your own airliner that you could realistically see a big player in the industry create. I just think it'd be so cool to see an aircraft entirely thought up from scratch soaring through the skies
That's a tall order, but I think RC Ramy and Tyler are up to it. I would recommend talking to relevant people in Lockheed Martin as they have the best designs (althought airlines tend to prefer price over quality, like the DC 10 over the L-1011 TriStar). Chatting with people at Boeing and others top airplane designers may also be helpful for such a project.
