Ah, you met a Marine. We don't die, we just fall back into hell and regroup.
Ok this kinda sounds like this particular human group might actually could be a vast corporate-state Spanning several galaxies. Like is the “hatnode” empire just a human corporation that managed to break off from the rest of humanity in the earlier days of space travel and just ran with the momentum?
I really like this, I hope this becomes a series if there is more
Just another day at the office
These stories are all over RUclips, save the eyes from getting tired and sore, am reading but not reading. The future looks bright, so we become the imperium of man.
Cool story.

Day is never finished,
Master got me watching,
Someday Master gonna upload my favorite story
"Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic"
-Arthur C. Clarke
That quote is from Magic Inc. by Robert E. Heinlein.
I prefer the inverse version, "Magic is just science we haven't figured out yet."
@vedinokkriid6582 And the inverse of the inverse is "Sufficiently advanced magic is indistinguishable from technology"
Human sent to free the slaves: thetevilempororsayswhat.

I really hope this author keeps going with this one , in my opinion it's a banger 🎉
hell yea guys, the crusades are back on the menu and not only is it a sacred crusade, it's a sacred space crusade.
Let's make the Emperor proud
So basically we concocted a space mom who puts everyone in their place if they get out of line.
Why do I get Lotus Vibes?
I dont think I ever heard the first part of the story. Before the pov.
Yeah I think there are 2 before this one. Best course of action is to check the play list.
There's a next part too
Permission to die 😢
Must’ve been a grunt…. Or someone in a corpo contract. I could 100% see that being the case
@@medical-cyanide1526 The phrase of needing permission to die is credited to a navy corpsman attached to a marine group. While patching up a marine he shouted this in the marine's face, and he pulled through. In the hospital he told the nurses his story and hearing that scared him and also forced him to fight for life. His story of course made the rounds to marines and from there spreading.
These days upon contact with the enemy they casually say things like you have no permission to die unless you take three of them with you. It is built into marine culture now. All because a medic was using any trick he could think of to keep a man from dying. 'Doc' will fight for every man under him against death itself, even using various tricks to snatch them back from death temporarily, just to give them a chance. If yelling at them works, it works and is all they care about.
Human medics are scary.
Denied
@@Nempo13 ooo, hadn’t heard the tale before, Danke!
And aye, a motivated corpsman is a terrifying individual. You don’t fuck with doc.
Hey hows it going I'm Dave from Comcast and I'm here to install your cable.
No it’s ComStar the intergalactic Wi-Fi company
The damned legion 😂
Thank you for the reading
Part 2 when?
"A single handheld human weapon could destroy a battleship."
What are they made of? Because Iron is a VERY common element among the stars, and a spacefaring people should know metallurgy.
Im thinking of a 9mm or even a scifi handcannon(Mass Effect) destroying a battleship. Disbelief is no longer suspended, I am now critiquing this privately.
Guy mentioned that the sword is made of a 4 dimensional material early on
It would be logical to assume these “guns” are more like WMDs than any gun we are familiar with
4th dimensional anti matter maybe lol
Good story
New subreddit idea.
