    Really enjoyed that. Thanks! I like the way you orientated the grain on the knife handles.
    And I like the “old steel” look as well.

    Very nice job. I'm impressed with the oak and the Corian spacers. I restore old Estwing leather grip on hammers and axes but I do it with leather and finish with lacquer. Enjoyed this very much as always nice to learn new ideas.

    Beautiful work, sir. I have my old camping Estwing hatchet from 1974. I have removed the dried leather and cleaned up the metal. I would love to do what you have done, but I do not have the bandsaw or sander (or the skill, if I am being honest with myself). I'm going to attempt a padded paracord wrap, but it won't hold a candle to yours.

      Thanks Duane. I need to get back into doing these videos. I never stopped doing projects, it’s just so much easier to make something when you’re not recording it.

    Great to see you doing a vid that handle was a lot of work that came from a ebay bid in Michigan they were 4 of them and I wanted the small estwing hatchet 14 in the lot . I sent one 24 to you and gave my grandson a mastermechanic and still have the little one and another 24

    That is a cute little ball peen hammer Friend!! I sure liked it. I never knew there were so many spelling variations!! So I doubt mine is correct but close enough!!
